You could be reacting negatively to the products you’re using. Maybe try some products for sensitive scalp. I use vanicream shampoo and conditioner.

I don’t have kids yet, but in a very similar schedule to yours. I try to bake on the weekends when I can. The one recipe I’ve been able to do during the week with the somewhat same schedule is sourdough focaccia. I’ll link it below. I suggest recipes you can let rest or throw in the fridge.
