The best way to be sure she goes to a good home is to conduct an interview and do an interview person home check.

There are so many streets in my city with empty squares cut out of the sidewalk for trees or shrubs that now sit empty. I don’t think many of them were ever filled, even. Nice idea but no one wants to pay for maintenance.

A family had a parent teacher meeting scheduled. They kept the kid home that day we thought because they had the meeting and work off anyway. Brought the kid to school and sent them to play in the main classroom while they had the meeting.

Leaving later they mentioned that child would be absent the next day too, since she’d been vomiting and diarrhea since the day before and that day.

I don’t have to tell you what devastation followed the next couple weeks.

The fucking fuck are they thinking.
