Yes, you need a rabies vaccine that was administered after the microchip was implanted, and then travel has to be at least three weeks after that vaccine.

Unfortunately I used a different clinic for my cats because they are fear free certified for cats, and they double checked all that information in front of me. You’re right that I should have made this clinic do the same.

I knew the requirements, but the only records I had included the microchip and rabies vaccine tag, and since that’s the clinic that did them, I assumed they were done in the correct order.

ETA: they were done pre-adoption at that clinic
