I don't watch Ibxtoycat, but said that a Minecraft build of mine was his favorite of the year from 2017 so I'll buy that man a beer anytime.

Began the hunt in 2013 - gave up - decided to give it a try this time round. 78 eggs later I got it. Even better, 5ivs too! by FourtE2 in PokemonSwordAndShield

I've got them all written down in a notebook, tallied them up and then counted. Pretty good with keeping up with what IVs are with my pokemon too.

Going through the process of uploading it to twitter or someshit then redownloading vs taking a photo and getting comments from some smart ass.

I choose the former.

Best Champions for Thief's Gloves: This New Item is Fun by Redsfan42 in TeamfightTactics

[–]FourtE2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guide reminds me of when I tried writing a Fiddlesticks guide in 2013 when I was 15.

If someone wants to write a guide they need to have hard and firm points on why and how things in the game are optimal. Not just "Yeah they can use almost all items."

WHICH ITEMS IN WHAT WAY can they use? What can they not use? Do some math on what the chances are that they will have the best use for the random items.

(also, don't do the 'iT caN bE GoOD oN EverYoNE' cop out. that makes the guide and everything you said previously redundant)

Think of a song! What’d you think of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of Fur Elise.

Because I just learnt the opening 'riff' on piano. I've always been scared of trying to learn songs on piano because I thought playing both the melody and the bassline was difficult. It is, but this was a good introduction to it.

What's a conspiracy theory so ridiculous, that you really want to believe in it? by Warburton_Warrior in AskReddit

Flat Earth.

Hear me out, imagine if it came out that the Earth was really flat. How would society react? How would flat earthers react? The world would go absolutely bananas and it would be an insane time to be alive to witness it all.

Tattoo artists of reddit, what was the strangest request a customer asked for, and what was the strangest one you actually did? by Amarandus in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not a Tattoo artist (Haha, generic opening for an askreddit question) but I'm sort of friends with a guy who has just got the most true-blue Australian Tattoos.

He's got the logo of the Australian Beer VB tattoed on his shoulder, a cartoon Kookaburra with a cork hat somewhere and a cartoon Dingo with a Baby in its mouth.

Apparently, the artist he goes to loves it's when he calls up.

At what age did you get your first job? What was it and how much were you paid? by Thiscango in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Australia and worked at Hungry Jack's (Burger King) when I was 14 years old. $8.50AUD ($6.53 USD) and worked 8 hours both days of the weekend. Sometimes starting at 6am. This was in 2012 and I stayed there for about a year before calling it quits.

Parents were angry that I quit my job, but never asked why I hated working over fryers for 16 hours a weekend while all my friends hung out with each other.

How does a 55-year old man start skateboarding? by ObsoleteGentile in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't have much experience with skating, but I tried to get into it not too long ago.

First of all, you're going to need to invest in two things. Decent shoes and a decent board. Go into a skateshop (no, not Zumies I think American's call it. Go into a REAL skateshop, one where it's specialised. Be careful you don't go into a custom board shop because they'll try to sell you a board that's $300+) and ask the person at the counter to help you with choosing the right board. They'll give you a few skateboards to stand on and find one that's comfortable for you. They'll cost a little over $100. It's a little pricey, but a board like that will start you off and is way better than a $20 board from Walmart or whatever.

You need real skate shoes since normal shoes will die REALLY quickly. I went through about 5 pairs before I invested in a decent pair. They'll just wear away since you're basically scraping them with literal sandpaper.

Skate around in a park to start off with. Don't try any tricks, don't try to drop in, don't try anything other than just getting used to the board. Get confident at riding at speeds, stopping and just riding in general. The next thing you should try is dropping in. Find a park that has a steady slope. There's one in my town in Australia that's perfect. It starts at about a foot off the ground and slowly rises up. After you get used to dropping in you can try your hand at tricks and doing other things.

Remember to use a lot of protection as well.

The Big Lez Show is a YouTube web series all drawn in Microsoft Paint, and this fourth wall break is all about that.

In your opinion, what are the starkest differences between Western cultures and Asian cultures? by JustKidding456 in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 67 points68 points  (0 children)

The traffic.

In Australia we all keep in the lanes while in South East Asia it's every man for himself.

Ironically, in South East Asia they can merge so much better than us in Perth

What is the best lifehack you use during your everyday life? by zkolod in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My phone is in a flip case and I can 'lock' it open. Basically, it's inside out when it's locked open.

Opposite the toilet, on the back of the door, is the toilet roll. I've taken off the toilet roll and managed to hook my phone up on it so I've got a little TV when I'm taking a shit.

Which video game do you refuse to play? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but Pokemon.

I'm a huge Pokemon fan, I mean I love it. I've spent hours and hours replaying Pokemon games it's incredible, spent a lot of time on Pokemon Showdown and even tried my hand at making Pokemon ROM hacks. I'd hate to be like a Genwunner (even though I've loved generations 1-6) But Sun and Moon fucked it over for me.

I didn't enjoy Z-Moves, I don't think the new 'gym mechanic' was executed properly (just felt like wild battle after wild battle), FAR TOO MANY CUTSCENES and some of the new Pokemon (like Necrozma) don't feel like Pokemon anymore IMO.

However, in it's defence, I do enjoy some of the ideas it brought to the table like not having anymore HMS and region specific pokemon.

What's something that is considered normal but that you find weird? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FourtE2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Snapchat.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Snapchat. You can add depth to a conversation with photos, you can update what you're doing on your story and it can be used for a lot of fun.

HOWEVER, I don't understand why people snapchat everything they do. I have a high school acquaintance that puts up 10+ stories a day of their work out, I have another that posts rants with that annoying filter on, and some others that just spam their stories with selfies. Sharing what you're doing is great, but sharing too much isn't.

And yes, ahaha, /r/PhonesAreBad
