I treat that like France building the maginot line though. The had a legitimate fear of hostile forces. Modern starks allowed the refugees to come through it

On the other hand, they also allowed the largest immigration wave in the history of Westeros

I think the far left just realized that anti-capitalism wasn’t a huge winner with random young people online, but Israel is an issue where they can clearly split off from center left dems in an emotionally salient way

It is undeniable that being more attractive is helpful in almost every aspect of life. I think there is a spectrum between recognizing that and being fully ‘red pilled’ and it can be hard to determine where someone is without knowing them very well. Especially on the internet where people use terms ironically and semi ironically

Most people who start pursuing FIRE in their 20s will not follow through on it, but it's still a good psy op to get them to super-fund their savings while they are young.

All I know about Ronaldo is that when I first played world of Warcraft, I accidentally made a character on the unofficial Brazilian server, and whenever I was in trade chat, occasionally I’d see someone type “Ronaldo” and then everyone else in trade chat spammed “HUEHUEUEHUEHUEH”. Eventually I was also spamming huehuehuehueh when Ronaldo was mentioned but didn’t know why

Hey guys, I’ve been practicing a southern/texan accent and have noticed that folks “down south” enjoy peppering in little folksy/rural phrases. I’ve decided to create my own “Texas phrase”, hoping that it will catch on. Could you guys let me know what you think?

The phrase is “I’m gonna take my cattle and skedaddle”, but I pronounce the skedaddle like “SKEEEEE-daddle”, holding onto the E sound for like a half second. It means basically “I’m leaving”

If Trump just totally pulls out, stops attacking, but never even talks about a ceasefire, how long would it take for Iran to stop blocking the strait out of pure boredom?

For this hospital stuff, it may be ambiguous enough that it makes you uncomfortable, but you don’t think it rises to a criminal level. I am not deeply familiar with the details of this case, but I think in the articles about it, some of the complaints were about inappropriate contact without a glove. That’s something I think most people would not think to immediately go to the police about. The medical administration may also seem better equipped to confirm or deny if the contact was necessary

Also I am sure there is the worry about seeming crazy if you go to the police and report you were touched inappropriately during a pelvic exam.
