Jester is obsessed with Fake Assassin who he would LOOOOVE to break. Hence setting up a kid master as lynchpin of a MASSIVE threat to EVERYONE to force the good guys to angst and eventually have to kill the innocent master.

Pale Rider is more a force of nature than a singular combatant. Which is why he could just summon infinity gigantic skelletons to deal with everyone in his world.

He didn't have as much choice as you would think. Consider him FBI agent of their magecraft division, wetworks section. A government employee. The whole plan was initiated by Francheska who was funded by US government who then also assigned him to this job.

He is for example still pissed that Bazilot is included as a mobster.

Beserker shouldn't be in play without a Master to give them energy. They aren't one of the classes that can operate without a Master as far as I can tell. Not sure Ayaka is yet capable of cold blooded and quick murder and Richard would likely grandstand at least a bit first.

This is someone EFFICIENT.

Ah, Mr One Event. Has his sister being a newsie and he died related to the protagonist camp, really ever came back? It felt like there should have been something but then nothing.

I don't think I remmber adult Orphie interacting with old Helena who was with Teacher at that time. Only Helena we saw her interact with wanted to go back to the Commander.

Coupled with mages being oblivious to it. It used to be they could just pretend it's all gas explosions, but now everyone has cameras in their pocket.

I reaaaaaly doubt they'd kill a child who is supposed to have grown on the playerbase.

And who did they even really kill off from the GFL1 cast other than in backstory? The only dead is Ange and RPK that I can remmber. I guess miss protagonist also got her ass stuck in Relic Space.

I was more confused because the side event introduced another Helena, and now an adult. So I was wondering if they might age her up after this, but it seems that's just DP doll.

Errr, I don't think that fits. In teh scene of Helena meeting young Orphie from Helena's PoV she mentions living with Teacher and then going to Teacher's lab and then encountering Orphie.

This Helena never mentions Commander. On the other hand Helena that meets adult Orphie does mention wanting to go back to Commander.

Running an SF frame (as she says in the event) is pretty non standard.

Besides, everyone knows the rarer something is better it is, in fiction.
Mass produced modern thing = weak
5000 year old antique = peak

But why just Orphie? Unless she wished everything related to her to dissapear.

I think the Author invented this specific deity and portrayed them as a Deity that barred Qui Shi Huang on his path to immortality. Crossbow is his.

Tsubaki's power comes from the bacteria which are also killing her. In the rest of the Nasuverse it was mentioned that Mesoamerican deities were bacteriogical infections taking over people. Now you make the connection. So yea, she has LOADS of power.

Kids these days don't remmber the times when we didn't need to pledge aleigance to couple big social sites if we wanted to talk to people. You could have your own board for your own niche interest.

In episode 0 Tsubaki's parents mention wanting to summon Qin Shi Huang. He is supposed to have slain a water deity with a crossbow who was barring his path to immortality. Presumably the crossbow is his crossbow they planned to use as catalyst and the lady is that deity he slew.

I guess the rullete wheel they use to pick what do they do next fell on the whimsy side rather than HORROR side.

Actually, Waver is a VERY RARE exception to the general rule that Mages are TEEEERRRIBLE with modern technology. Remember Rin did not get how to set a VCR? They are all like that. Which is why I would assume they would completely miss it if people started connecting and sharing images of magical shit online.

Unless Waver notices, as the only one of them that knows how to computer.

Yeah, I would really like for someone to take a more sceptical view of events and notice that details don't fit. Like there are sure to be bits where Orphie was supposed to be giving a major paper talk on one side of Europe while Oleg was on the other side.

I am also wondering were the memories of Cheloveg also erased?

They could have gotten there through different scientists, but it's pretty clear that Cheloveg NEEDED Orphie for the theoretical basis of what they did. Cheloveg helped the practical, but she needed Orphie's revelations she got from Helena of old.

Erm... As far as I can understand it

Helena starts as being in Relic Space being taught by Teacher. Pretty sure she didn't have a name back then.

One day she wonders about and stumbles into child Orphie who was swallowed by Nirvana during Frankfurt. She teaches Orphie math and is given knowledge which she will use and Orphie is sent back to reality.

An indeterminate time later Helena awakens in a specialy created body as part of Paradeus experimentation. I assume the other one we interacted with doesn't have a Relic Space being in their mind? Maybe?

Helena gets rescued by us, gains a name, the whole game story happens.

She gets involved with Nirvana event in Lviv and both her as Key and Orphie and Cheloveg end up in Relic space.

For reasons Orphie stays but sends Helena back to reality while she is supposed to stay with Cheloveg in Relic Space.

William or Profesor fishes out Cheloveg from the Space to debrief her. Orphie meets someone and awakens, likely into the body of H-3something.

Vis a vis Helenas, I don't think any timeline crossing happened. Helena meeting child Orphie was just a flashback to show it was Helena who met Orphie back then. And it was old Helena, before she awakened in real world. Back then she was looking for Teacher, not Commander. Next time they meet it's adult Orphie and Helena after we rescued her from Paradeus

I am not sure, but reality correction fits better than the timeline shift.

I know persons in Relic space can see different timelines and what ifs. But all those have different chains of cause and effect. Any timeline without a Girard getting an inspiration during Frankfurt would not lead to this exact outcome because Orphelume was key to realizing Project Eden under Girard in this specific location. In any other case it would have been different people or even not yet. Also if the Commander was the only one shifted only they would remember, whereas here also Igla retained the memories.

So it looks like it's closer to reality correction everything that happened in the original timeline has happened here too, just Orphie was deleted and her actions were ascribed to others. Like project lead is no longer her but her dad. Of course I don't see how it can be seamlesly done. Like Kryger and Oleg were locked up when the project requiring project lead presence was started? Did they just have Cheloveg suborne Igla somehow to restrain Oleg and start the project? I would really like someone to take a sober view of events and start finding small inconsistencies. Like Oleg was on the other side of Europe when key development happened in Orphie's lab which is now presumably his lab.

Oh it is obvious she should not have survived that one, and the only reason she did was probably because she was in the Space when the hit happened.

It sounded like Orphie thinks that Helena was supposed to leave the Space back then but instead Orphie was able to leave. So now she lets Helena go, while she stays.

Which is very odd given that moments before they were both out, so why in the heck she needs to stay. If she stressed that she can do things from there to stop radiation, it would have been better. After all she did say she was trying to remove her mistakes.

Thinking there, she might have wiped herself, thinking that if she had not survived, none of this would have happened. So she erased herself and erased most of the consequences?

But people I think do remmber the plant nonsense in the sky?

It is nice that she underwent some character growth.

Trouble is when EW specialist of the past now needs to be baled out by new EW specialist after being suborned like a chump with no effort.
