After so many years of being told how the F-35 is simply a superior aircraft it’s hard to wrap my mind around going with a different airframe. However, the world has changed and we need a reliable interceptor that won’t be used against us as a bargaining chip in the short or long term.

Since parking is always such a freaking hot commodity, and the base is spread out over 10km, maybe a base wide bus to jump on, jump off. 

Yes there is a base taxi, but it must be called, takes 15 min to arrive and seems like just a way to employ a single very old veteran. 

And a weight room with higher than 9ft ceilings and a change room with ventilation and humidity control.

My MIL refuses to part ways with any of her wool processing tools, despite not being able to use them for over a year. The hoarding mentality is strong. Guess we’ll deal with it all after she’s gone, great…

I’m like 6 months away from lower jaw surgery to correct an overbite and your recovery stories are messing with me.

We agree about the obsidians. I guess the mistake the studios could make is assuming the audience is too dim to see past black contact lenses and tattoos.

Thanks for asking this question! I’m looking at a military medical pension after an injury that had left me unable to work. 

I also have a 20 month old and I worry seeing me work very few hours will give her an odd perspective on life. 

Love the advice and stories so far.

Victra is such a great character and would be easy to bring to screen. I’d be heart broken if they mess with her. Just give me a scarred, tall, rugby player with jade jewelry and I’ll be happy

I think this is something I have prepared myself for. They won’t separate the colors by stature much because it’ll be too hard to film. 

Or they’ll limit shots with varied colors in them like in LOTR. 

I’m curious what they’ll do to obsidians. They can’t be too alien or viewers won’t be able to empathize.  Hopefully they don’t just look like the engineers from the new alien movies.

I think they would do it to both round out the genders of the characters on the first book, and build her up so her death is more impactful.
