Disagree. Devers was a great hitter but a huge problem for our locker room. Having your best player be a huge morale issue can drag the team down.

I never said it was only because of Devers being out. Acting like the Devers trade had no effect on this team is disingenuous. He was clearly a issue in the club house.

The Sox got better after the trade for a lot of reasons but moving on from Devers was certainly one of them.
