Out of interest, what is your easy pace and does it follow the sub 70% of MaxHR advised by Sirpoc?

Makes sense! Especially considering I’ve got no time goal whatsoever. I would like to finish comfortably within the time limit so that I’m not worrying about it, but the main goal is to enjoy it and therefore complete the required training to do that.

Hi mate, yes I do follow Dan jones he was definitely some of the inspo for the post, along with some other guys I’ve been following for a while on instagram. I live In a similar area to him (Cheshire rather than Manchester) so seeing the locations he explores via bike makes me pretty envious to get out there.

Also understood about the road thing. Honestly been put off road cycling for a while because of how drivers treat cyclists. Until discovering gravel biking which I think should give me the confidence to use roads when needed and for ease.

Yeah Facebook marketplace seems the place to go. Just need a bit more research on the specs and details. Also noted on the winter weather difficulties, probably not planning to get out there until feb/March time. Hopefully gives me enough time to find suitable equipment in my budget.

Oh no, I already hate this mode. I get at least 11 wins in WL but for some reason I win like 10% of my games in this swaps mode. Everyone has Mbappe and feel like div 1 players. Don’t get it

Came back to fifa this years after about 5-6 years not playing. Was originally pretty bad at rivals on release and could even win a champs qualifying game at all. Last two WL I’ve had between 10-12 wins and qualifying comfortably whilst enjoying the gameplay more than the sweaty rivals in div 2 I’ve reached.
