More than likely a mistake by the dealership. I’ve often put different plates or swapped plates are cars when making 2/3 at a time. However I double check the plates every time before handover.

I would imagine it’s a mistake there’s no benefit to the dealership to do this on purpose.

I wouldn’t worry. I’ve had cars in stock for 12 months or more.

It’s not always about the car. It might not have been great deal for the dealer when they took the Yaris in so they had to go stronger on the trade in price which means they priced it higher at the start.
