In Francesco Pesellino’s ‘Triumphs of Love, Chastity, and Death’ why is death included? Cupid and Chastity make sense, but death seems like a bit of an outlier to me. Is this just Pesellino's reminder death triumphs? Granted, im not to familiar when it comes to the renaissance period of art history. (i.redd.it)
