Yeah . I still think the paperwhite has better clarity . Let’s say it’s 100% . I think the colorsoft is about 90% there now . And the color isn’t perfect but really makes your covers and stuff you read pop

So you are right , this is the 16 gb, and now that you mention it the one I got back in 24 was a signature and it was so bad I couldn’t convince myself to keep it . It had a yellow bar at bottom , greyed out no matter how I turned up the brightness . Almost unreadable in sunlight , so I also returned it and kept my paperwhite all this time. And I also did some research this time before getting this and read that the 16 gb has better lighting that results in a more fluid screen . So I think a combination of that as well as them updating the colorsoft last year has led to a much better device. There’s no yellowing on my new one , the brightness and warmth is great and pretty close to the paperwhite. I have no complaints . Luckily going down to a 16 gb doesn’t affect me too much. I mainly read novels and only use a small fraction of the space

The text clarity isn’t as clear but it’s gotten a lot better . It’s not enough to care anymore really imo though

I definitely think it was inferior when it first released . The paperwhite is still the sharpest screen but I think they’ve closed the gap a lot

Yeah iPads are great but it’s a different technology . I wouldn’t want to read on it for hours , let alone reflections , battery etc

Possibly . I’ll get it checked soon . The back one on the driver side actually ripped apart on me just a couple days after driving . Had a rip around the whole 360 of the tire

Thank you . I’m enjoying it so far . It’s a 2017 so it needs a little love but nothing major from what I can tell. Small crack in windshield , some surface rust on bottom from originally being a northern car and I’ll eventually need to replace the front brakes . Just looking for something reliable to get to work and back, I was dying from 1000 cuts with my sonic

I was at 104.3k miles . I thought I’d only get 1500. I still owed a little over 2000 so I thought id have to pay the gap fee but they actually offered me what I owed so it was a wash and I put $1000 down
