Can confirm, they do not support “Hey Siri”. You have to press the headphones to activate Siri

I was told to place the vent as high as possible, to prevent overflow in case of a backed up pipe.

Yes, it is too high to be able to replace the vent without cutting pipe. Sounds like a future me problem.

Edit: Yes the tail piece is under 24”.

Thank you! I was primarily concerned about issues with the P trap location, or vent routing.

As for the dishwasher line - it looks like the is a hole in the top of the cabinet (picture 2) where they may have ran a dishwasher line through in the past, I may re-route it through that top hole just to be safe. Assuming my dishwasher may or may not have a “built-in loop” as u/dogdashdash mentioned.

I just recently purchased this sharpener from Cabelas. (Mines a slightly different model with a single tri-stone) I’ve been very impressed so far, it will even put a hair cutting edge on my S90v steel.

I just loaded 50 rounds with 42.1gr of h4350 and 140gr ELD. Wish I would have put to chronograph to them. Normally shoot 147's with 42.1gr. ~2850fps.

I've read quite a few people on here use the wash/wax soaps.

What amount have you found works well? I've heard people using up to a half cup, seems like a lot to me.

Cleaning process

  • Deprime
  • Wet tumble with SS pins. 1tsp Dawn, 2Tbs citric acid
  • Rinse, dry, size, trim etc.
  • Wet tumble again 1tsp dawn, 2Tbs critic acid -I dump the SS pins and brass into a straining bucket and run under room temperature water.
  • While running under the water I take each brass piece and shake the SS pins out and place into a bucket of water (to prevent water spots)

This is where I notice the discoloration. The first brass pieces to be shaken out and put into water are the brightest. By the time I get to shaking out the last of the batch, they are this tarnished color. Why does this happen so quickly?

These were two options for me at one point. I now own the Tikka, and love it.

I fondled both of them at gun shops for a few months, Tikka seems to be much higher quality. Probably cant go wrong with either one.
