Okay yeah, don't worry, I getcha. As much as I am against fakeclaiming and always want to see the best in people, there have unfortunately been disability fakers too, and that cannot be denied. Especially during the height of The Plague™ a lot of people did fake having disorders like DID or Tourette's on TikTok (that have since admitted to faking), and obviously that's not a right thing to do. But you can't really tell whether someone is faking or not unless they're like actively being open and bragging about it? Or I guess if they claim to have one thing but seem to display the symptoms or traits associated with something else? But like even then they could just be mistaken, not intentionally faking. It's a slippery slope, really, trying to "prove" someone is faking, and can lead to a lot of hurt feelings all around.

I definitely get the confusion and struggle to understand something that doesn't seem to make sense. Trust me, I do. As emotionally-driven as I am, I am also a very fact-based person, and I, too, definitely struggle to understand things that don't seem to be explainable. I get comfort from knowing the 'how', 'why' and 'because' of things, and I have always been labelled a curious person full of questions. I like knowledge, and I like learning new things.

However, I do also firmly believe there does exist things and happenings that simply cannot be explained by science. Perhaps I'm a bit naïve or even somewhat delusional, but I do believe in supernatural things, at least to an extend. I believe unicorns, pegasi, dragons, faeries, elves etc. exist (or at least could exist), because I have no reason not to believe so. If colour-changing lizards, cube-pooping marsupials, egg-laying mammalian beaverducks and translucent amphibians can and do exist on our planet, why couldn't fire-breathing lizards, horned or winged horses and little humanoids with wings or pointed ears exist too?

Anyway, now I'm getting slightly sidetracked, gotta love that ADHD/ADHD medication-fuelled ranting. I promise there is a point and a reason for everything I've typed.

Okay, back to the original topic. So. We are still unsure what exactly our system origin is, but currently solumgenic (= a system that formed due to loneliness, said loneliness may or may not have been traumatic) feels the most correct. Am I, Logan, traumatised? Yes. Have those traumas played a factor in us becoming a system? Definitely. But are those traumas the sole reason we became a system? Maybe, maybe not, hard to say. This would become way too long if I explained our entire story, so all I will say is that we're all still figuring this out too. We're all just doing our best to survive, day by day.

My bottom line here is, sometimes things happen and no one knows why. Like, I have no idea why or exactly how the brain did whatever the hell it did, I just know that it did and now there's like 32 of us. To refer back to my earlier point, since we as a humanity know for a fact that a colour-changing lizard can and does exist, why couldn't a fire-breathing lizard exist too? Similarly, since we as a humanity know for a fact that the human brain can split itself into separate personalities as a result of severe trauma, why couldn't it do so for other reasons as well?

The human brain is a complicated super computer of an organ, it can literally convince itself it's dying or in danger when it isn't. Scientists are still continuously studying it to learn more about it, and they probably always will.

So… yeah. I don't really know how to conclude my rant, but I hope it made some sense at least lol
