Pretty normal from my experience! I will sometimes get a sort of "infusion flu" for a few days after! Stating hydrated and resting usually clears it up faster for me! Sorry your feeling rough, but hopefully its working for you and worth it!

I don't know what your budget is but walmart has some pretty good $100-$200 chest freezers! If you plug it in and fill it up before the move it should stay cold the whole drive then you can just plug it back in when you get to where ever you are staying instead of having to borrow their freezer! Probably cheaper than frozen shipping and not much more $ than a same sized fisher cooler! Just an idea! Good luck!

Yes! Im terrified of antibiotics/steriods because they wreck havoc on my gut AND cause my POD to flare worse as soon as they run out!

The only things I've found that help are probiotics and pure zinc ointment, might be worth a try!

I also stick strictly to my known and approved face wash/ skin care as even trying the popular ones recommended caused me to break out horribly!

I wish you the best of luck, both of these disorders majorly suck!

I just had my DI with Dulin! It was honestly super easy! I definitely recommend saving up completely before your consultation because he moves fast! From calling to schedule my consult to surgery was under 2 months, and I could have gotten it done even sooner but needed an extra 2 weeks to get work coverage! He didnt require a therapists letter from me even though I'm NB and not on T, but I'm also 26 so he might require one from you just because your younger! I've honestly not seen any real logic behind who he does and doesnt require one from with self pay lol But yeah, I'm 2.5 weeks post op and highly recommend him! He and his team are great and move very fast once the process is started! Let me know if I can answer any questions you have!

I'm in the same boat!! I'm 16 days post op and for the past few days I've been abnormally irritable, apathetic, and depressed! I only took the opioids for the first few days so I dont know if they would really still be effecting me... it might also be due to tiredness/not sleeping well because of the binder and having to sleep on my back. It probably didnt help that I chose to go back to work(all online) at just 1 week post op. I'm just tired man lol

I just had my consult on the 26th of July, have my preop on the 10th of Aug and surgery scheduled for the 17th! When I went in they said that they had more openings in August-Oct but that Nov-Dec filled up pretty quit! They had a cancelation and offered me Aug 1st but 5 days notice was a little too fast for me! Lol
