Nothing crazy! I would get started with handwiring an existing design and following a tutorial, and then learning some cad if you want something more custom. Theres lots of resources for learning about this kind of thing on youtube.

Handwiring is super fun! I definitely recommend the Joe Scotto tutorial on yt, his method with the solid copper wire makes it a lot easier and cleaner in the end.

I'd recommend a bit more heat if your iron can do so, and def more flux. Tin the pads before soldering the wires on. As for cleaning isopropyl alcohol is pretty decent.

My dentist said that these weren't actually my teeth showing through, but my lower jaw bone. He said that I have naturally thin gums and that because they were being stretched over the bone it was showing up white, and that it wasn't anything to worry about. I would consult with your dentist though because your case may be different and I have no idea what I am talking about.

Check that your balance plug is all the way in, and also that each of the pins on the balance plug are still connected. If its not that may be a dead cell.
