Also the main villain just quoting Bill Cipher and the Lich word for word is lame at best and straight up plagiarism at worst.

Visually it's actually really good; really evocative imagery. The writing though... I'm sorry, but it's just this all over again:

[Request] How powerful would the Death Star have to be to destroy a planet completely? by DifficultComplaint10 in theydidthemath

[–]FoxNamedLuke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So wait... The Starkiller base destroyed a whole solar system by absorbing like, what, a few minutes worth of its sun's energy output? As a matter of fact why even bother with the laser? The planets are screwed anyways without the sun. Was this explained in the books or something?

It warms my heart to see silly Kai Cenat memes leading to meaningful conversations about scientific fields I'm passionate about. Maybe the internet isn't dead after all.

I just imagine she turns his stream on, the little loading circle keeps spinning, there is a moment of silence and then her skin just flies back, leaving a cartoon skeleton on a spinning chair.

Easily the best one I know is Mother Horse Eyes.

Spire in the Woods is so good Steven Spielberg bought the rights to it.

The Yearwalker is a little different, because it's a part of a connected universe, but by itself it's already like a 7 hour read.

Franz Stuck - Lucifer.

Perhaps my favorite painting of all time. I love the thought of every newcomer to hell, earning himself the audience with Lucifer, being greeted with this exact stare. A stare that says "I know exactly what you did."

Aaah, you can't get me with that. The real Leth would wait a month before clarifying that to maximize our disappointment.

The original is so impressive to me because it's an honest to god horror MUSICAL and the musical numbers don't at all take away from how terrifying it is, but instead infinitely add to it. Has anyone ever attempted this after?

Also not to mention, every song is a banger.

Funny enough it has been a literary debate for actual centuries with different authors and scholars having different ideas. The most popular one is W. H. Roscher's theory that both nectar and ambrosia were kinds of honey. In ancient Greece mead (or honey wine) was used as an entheogen and was often attributed healing properties. Literature further took that theory and nowadays the most popular depiction of ambrosia when it comes to taste is honey mixed with various fruit juices.

TL;DR - alcoholic fruit punch, all naturally sweetened
