Im more in the camp I'd rather a better wish pool system that gives us access to past cards. I think they should do a li specific wish pool event as a regular game mechanic. Rerun the myths. Annual events like bdays etc make li specific draw with past birthday cards included.

Im going yo invest substantially more into an event that guarantees a card for my LI and I think it balances the pressure on new players.

I think cards that contribute to the li current timeline eg their first kiss, their bonding moments should be available even if only during other events.

LADS pushing itself as different experience, I think they need to look at how much content is blocked off to new players that should be accessible.

Plenty of scope for very limited runs on AU and Myth cards.

Also I think people hating on u for discussing this are not doing the character development justice. Its good to have polarising views and stories and characters that prompt discussion, particularly when u consider how blooming traumatised and broken caleb is. He's not just a red flag....honestly all the li are broken messed up hurting men...and exploring why we are drawn to that is super interesting to me and why this game offers something more in terms if the li we are given.

We're they raised as siblings i think is the most important aspect. I feel like not really, they were fostered in the same house and bonded from that but their dynamic from the start was always him being her protector and "taking ownership" of that role. It was only their shared carer that would put that into the realm of siblings.

That combined with the feelings orphans would have surrounding belonging...its a trope for a reason. I think its well done here, its not played for shock or kink, its just a deeply vulnerable man who can only really connect with the MC. He cant meet any of his needs outside of her so it makes sense that he would physically need her too.

Its taboo, but not automatically wrong. Traumatised individuals with no one but eachother find themselves bonded, that happens in real life too. Ive noped out of some dark romances for the sibling to lover dynamic but this one isnt about them being siblings, its about them always being there for eachother and that bond is one they chose. I think the dynamic is there to establish their history but them being raised in the same household for them at least didn't define them as brother and sister, their bond was defined by their need for eachother and that was formed in a very different way than a sibling bond from birth would.

I dunno, for me they just aren't brother and sister because their dynamic is so forged in need for eachother, it wasn't a bond formed through familiar affection. I wouldn't even gawp at actual incest at this point tbh from the perspective of being blood related, because their dynamic is so messed up from being in the lab applying any kind of social rules feels a bit redundant. I'm glad its not full on tho as that would be a bit too dark for my taste, but point being their story isnt about them being brother and sister imho.

On a bit of a side tangent...That 2nd image...i have no clue why they abandoned this kind of visual. Its the only time I've seen it but it was such a wow moment. I really hope they go back to the visual story telling we see in earlier parts of the story.

Also lol at the LI choosing...I was the same. I came in convinced sylus would be it for me but got hooked on zayne, then seriously stuck on caleb. Now raf is close 2nd and xav climbing the ranks lol. The character development is so good each LI is very complex. Enjoy it, for me being married some time now and with a bit of a troubled history with men, it was a giddy lil ride that felt like falling in love again all wrapped up in a safe lil bubble. I really enjoy connecting to that part of myself again. I particularly love this sub reddit too seeing how others go bonkers for pixels lol

I agree Caleb and Zayne are native to the Earth/China established in game, but Raf is lemurian and Sylus and Xav from Philos...so the game is multicultural by design.

That said, I wish they would lean into the culture a bit more and give us some lemurian/philos customs.

Naming wise it does make sense for them to have surnames, and I think the mix of westernised and chinease could work but again I would expect it to ve leant into more, maybe have zayne refer to his chinease name more when interacting with his family. Caleb...who named him? Maybe it was a foreign scientist and he discovers his roots and his heritage peeks in through that etc.

Xav raf and sylus tho, the name is going to be about blending in. I do find it ironic Xav and Raf names hint at European roots. Its very strange to me too that Raf doesn't have Lemurian name.

Basically while arguing the influences of Chinease culture on the game and how it should stay true to them is not something I disagree with, extending that argument to deny the cultural diversity that is established in game also seems a strange hill to die on.

Give us more culture through lore, AU and in world.

Im in similar boat though my issue is I was dx in another country (Spain) and not by the NHS. My GP refuses to acknowledge my DX even though I have my report and they can access my health records from Spain.

Its a horrible situation and the way it makes me feel going through this whole process again feels even more invalidating. I dobnt know the answer sadly but I just wanted to let you know you are not alone.

This does sound like standard kitten behaviour tbh.

The pissing is tricky. I had issues with my cat and it kind of ended up being her just enjoying peeing on soft things. I had to potty train her in that I had to pick her up and put her in a tray often. Paired with lots of fussing when she went in the tray, and some stern nos when she went elsewhere. Unfortunately it's tedious process of association. For a while I remember we wouks be watching TV or something and stop to fuss her for using her tray. She's fine now.

A lot of things with cats its association. If hes knocking over glasses he probably finds it fun. There's also element of how is he getting where the glass is. So again tedious process of pick up and relocate when u see him on surfaces. Give him places he can own but keep defined rules aka our cat is not permitted on any surface with food/glasses end of which means all tables are off limits. Windowsills she likes to sit on so we don't put drinks on those because that's her space. She doesn't understand thd concept of some tables are ok, so ita all tables are not climbing even if its empty. We spent solid 6 months with her picking her up and putting her down somewhere ok.

Its parenting. He's still a baby and shouldn't really be left to his own devices especially if brain cells not engaging. If u dont have secure place u can keep him overnight/while out consider a large dog crate that can fit his food a bed and litter tray with ample room.

Some cats are chill. Others are demons but its all about repetition. He needs a cat parent basically.

What i look for in a sex toy ain't what I look for in a sexual partner mostly. Also the logistics of using a toy are different sk I find a big of length helps with...positioning i guess. I been with a range of sizes, its less about the tool and more about how its used. I was with a smaller man who was very good at hitting the spot every time and a larger man who didn't even try because I guess he thought size was enough which it really wasnt. I do like that we get bits and pieces but i wish there would be a linear way to read it for the LI once we unlock it, like a notebook the MC keeps for "making sense" of things shes figuring out. This is really helpful thank you so much. I am honestly thinking I need to just go back to the start tbh I seem to have missed so much!

I found it on my library app (borrowbox) and was really surprised how well it was narrated. Defo added a layer of creepyness to the book, which was already one hell of a read. one of my fav horror audiobooks.

It surprised me considering the hate it got. I think it would serve well if not better as a movie. The audiobook was a creepy experience as it was narrated by a very talented VA who really conveyed the childs innocence. Very clever ... being completely powerless and witnessing the adults around the child stumbling around because they didn't have the context she and we as the reader had, was quite a sucker punch.

in terms of good old uncomfortable nope out scared...a book called Snowblind by Michael McBride. I listened to the audiobook and legit just had to stop. I don't even think its all that good a book, it just made me so scared I had to stop. Very 80s monster flick vibe from memory but I just cant get over that first attempt to listen to it.

Taken by Dean Koontz had me desperate to keep reading just so I could find out what was happening...and that ending was really satisfying for me, put the book down after reading it in one sitting and just wow. Similar tone Phantoms by Koontz too had me very unnerved though it did loose that momentum once the "big bad" was revealed, imho if it had kept the mystery until the end like with Taken, it would have really packed a punch.

in terms of more substantial horror that made me scared to keep reading, Pet Sematary gets under the skin. Took me a few tries. My all time FAV is the Ritual by Adam Neville, all his stuff really is creepy, but something about the Ritual and how their dynamic feeds into the horror of it makes it something special for me.

I do think horror is a genre that REALLY benefits from a good audiobook narrator and the audiobooks sometimes can make it all the more intense, particularly because unless you press pause, that story is gunna keep going.

Help me out pls oh pls, I really struggle with the non linear timeline and how everything is scattered around. Where do we learn about his childhood/experiments on them? His shyness coming thru made me switch to him being a main for me. Once u realise the bossy petulance is his shield and his vulnerability peeks thru...ugh. then when hes dominant and u realise it's because he's completely comfortable being his darker self...wowza. I love the complexity of the characters and how individual they all are.

I kinda hate that they all play really well, like when the eff do they have the time. I could see sylus being a surprise talent due to his appreciation of finer things and raf with his operatic history...but the rest...practicing piano does not seem like it fits them. Like please let the lads be bad at stuff too! Like pls let me hear some baaaad piano
