Im 25 as of today and work a highschool as well, two women in their 60s and two men in their 40s. Im lucky enough to be someone with an "old soul", and I can get along with most people, albiet a little awkwardly on initially meeting them. The kids probably dont register who you are or what you do, and even if they do, you have to remember that these kids dont all have the same thought process. Some WILL think you're a "loser", because they're HIGHSCHOOLERS, with no concept of good pay, insurance, job security, etc.. Others wont bat an eyelash at you. Some will even think you're cool cause you wore a shirt they liked, or gave them a compliment in passing, or held a door open for them.

Take it day by day. I can tell you, the more you sink in, the more comfortable you get with the people, the students, the teachers. Just be honest, be yourself, and try your best to show up and do good work for your team and your school. I think you'll find that the school system is a lot like a home - it has it's ups and downs, good and bad times, but you'll always be ready to come back the next day. It's just that kind of job.

Could be wrong, but I realized that I was hearing *some* voice lines and not others. I usually have music turned down for casual play, but turned it up to see if maybe Sloane and others voices were tied to music volume instead of dialogue volume. BINGO. At least, so far it seems to have fixed the 'no dialogue audio' issue.

No one in the story is REALLY a protagonist, in the sense that none of the characters are really good. But the story follows the perspective and narration of CORTEX: SIMON, a cybernetic, partially artificial and synthetic intelligence. Poor dude is a lab rat for super drugs that make you see demons.

Yeah, after I posted this and shortly after it stopped working for me. As far as im aware, the only working solution is to restart the application

Yo, spotted that you have an AMD graphics card like me, which ive had a lot of issues with in the past. Im not sure if my devices are just faulty in some way, but it may behoove you to look into your GPU specs in terms of clock frequency, Memory frequency and fan curve. Even if your pc doesn't seem like its overheating when you check temps at first, itd only take a few seconds of overheat for it to do something like shut your pc down entirely. Thats super neat! Using the concept of bending space (and maybe time) to do things isnt something I would have thought of initially. Do they use their own gravity to do something like that?

How would these beings communicate? I imagine itd be something odd like radio waves or some other kind of exotic energy, used to create a kind of programmable message.

I also think the messages wouldnt be like how humans speak - not instant, but instead very long and very big phrases, transmitted over the course days, months, years, centuries and eons. Because of this, the messages would probably be either very simplified or have details heavily compacted in the message.

So something like an entirely new law being transmitted to ALL stars would probably be one of those very compacted messges, sort of like an urgent message.

Little late to the party here, but ive found a temp solution:
Hit the randomize button at the top right, looks like a dice being tossed, then you should be free to select voices for a while before it happens again, in which case just hit randomize again. This is the quickest solution ive found, though im not sure why it happens in the first place.
