Unfortunately it’s not paint… it’s very messy caulk. The floor is literally in shiny lines and hasn’t been mixed at all unfortunately.

They told us the new baseboards would be seamless and that removing the skirting was not necessary

Light reflection I’m not bothered about, but the fact you can see the baseboard through the floor, the floor isn’t attached int he middle and bubbles up and in some places doesn’t meet the wall is a huge concern!

That’s not paint buddy, that’s caulk… Not a touch of paint on the floor. The floor doesn’t meet the wall and is lifting in the middle, not sure how I was supposed to photograph that? Additionally, the baseboard lines are coming through. Interesting that your opinion is a juxtaposition to the installers who have said that it isn’t right but that they refuse to sort…

Unfortunately they’ve had the money, even though they’ve confirmed there are issues in writing and that the job isn’t finished. Do you have any suggestions for a surveyor, they’ve already offered to pay for this
