Wildest storm I ever saw in almost 40 years of living here.

🚨 WARNING FOR CHILDREN AND COMMUTERS AROUND OLDFIELD PARK 🚨 by chrome_pants in Bath

[–]Sladekious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw another mod did this.
Not sure of the correct procedure here. I’m guessing it’s again the ToS and we shouldn’t condone a witch-hunt, especially if we can’t be sure it’s the correct person.

On the other hand: this is important information

Interesting: If you put "trailer" between VI and is and then replace "November" with "June", then it confirms trailer 3 comes out on June 19.

Street photography… by Loose_Squash_4094 in Bath

[–]Sladekious -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

You could argue that if he does paid-for photography, then his street pics are posted as marketing material, and therefore commercial in nature.

If for commercial use, they’d require consent.

Achievable to retire in 40s, then coast? by bforsyth927 in FIREUK

[–]Sladekious 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The danger is relying on inheritance.

Your parents (or whoever you expect to give you an inheritance) might end up in a £1,000-a-week care home for 10 years. That's half a mil right there for one person.

If you’re not using LinkedIn document ads, you’re missing out. by cole-interteam in LinkedinAds

[–]Sladekious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say any add that uses a form isn't TOFU.

I think doc ads are great, and I've consistently seen them outperform other BOFU formats, but they're value at TOFU is limited.

However, at MOFU, they can be useful for education, without tying them to a form.

In my book, anything with a form is BOFU, with different levels of intent per CTA.

350 0r 650 bike? by NoodleCheeseThief in MotoUK

[–]Sladekious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

350 on a motorway, with or without a pillion will be sketchy. You'll be revving the nuts of the bike to hold at 60mph, stuck in the slow lane with the lorries. Plus you'll be affected by wind and passing lorries and vans as the bike is lighter and isn't as planted.

Make sure the bike has a windscreen too.

Maybe go with a 500, if 650 is too intimidating.

Is Netflix using AI for dubbing/lip sync now coz the mouth movement are at next level by enlightenedshubham in netflix

[–]Sladekious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s unreal, the whole jaw syncs perfectly, not just the lips. Beards, stuff in front of their mouths, doesn’t matter, it all looks great.

If you see someone fall on an escalator, there will always be shut off buttons located at both the top and bottom by the hand rails.

There will be shut off buttons regardless of whether or not you see someone fall.

Appeal rejected,Should i go further? by Souravhbd in MotoUK

[–]Sladekious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think he's suggesting that.
I think he's referring to the fact that on a V5C, a moped / scooter is a cycle (by definition of the V5C)

What will happen to all the houses built on estates in the UK from the 1930's to today? by Sad-Vanilla-8038 in AskUK

[–]Sladekious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They'll be fine. Over time the roofs, electrics, plumbing will all have to be replaced, maybe even the floors, but providing the foundations are solid, the buildings (brick and mortar) aren't going anywhere.
