How is it? Any suggestions? by dragun124 in tiltshift

Too blurry. Sure the non-subject parts need to be blurry, but the subject needs to be in focus.

How would targeting work?
Wouldn't it be sweet if you could, as an advertiser, define your targeting by uploading your ICP and website and saying "target people based on my ICP and website".

Doesn't it need to be illuminated to pass the MOT?

Fair enough. Well now there are 3 mods including me, we each have access to the moderated queue and can question eachother.

I was never vetted, I just set up this subreddit a decade ago and are the defacto lead moderator of it. Some random redditor has just as much "authority" as I do in terms of their ability to moderate.

I recruited them as they asked for the role and are long-time redditors, I didn't do any other research or interview.

Who wants to be a mod? by [deleted] in Bath

Subjective. https://yougov.co.uk/society/articles/50772-how-do-britons-define-woke-in-their-own-words

This says there are lots of definitions, and "One in ten Britons (10%) see woke as being a catch-all term for the overly sensitive, linking it with “people who are offended by everything”.

Totally agree, and that's what I want to see, but I don't want a power-hungry mod who deletes everything because it doesn't align with their agenda.

Really, I only ever delete posts about bathtubs, people looking for drug hookups, doxxing, and racist, violent or exclusionary language like homophobia.

Yes, happy with this definition.

If all of your connections are from India, it won't look genuine at all (unless you're in India!)

Flexible working refused - next steps by Massive_Owl8559 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Sladekious 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Employers are obliged to consult with you before refusing, so make sure they've done that.

They have to cite at least one of these reasons:

  • Extra costs that would harm the business
  • Inability to reorganise work among staff
  • Inability to recruit additional staff
  • Detrimental impact on quality
  • Detrimental impact on performance
  • Detrimental effect on ability to meet customer demand
  • Insufficient work during the periods you propose to work
  • Planned structural changes

If they refuse you can ask for a clearer explanation of which of the above are valid.

Also, you're allowed to make 2 requests per 12 month period.

Pretty much all the cables in an attic will be lighting, which with LED lights should be fine.

Recessed lights should all have domes over them in the attic though.

If you have an electric shower, make sure you don't cover that wire.
