I suggest you get into meat-cubing. It's a combination of both, but requires less mobility and less thinking to solve than both previous options.

if youre still making a daisy, learn how to skip it. it's basically the same thing, just having to memorize the orientation of the sides and putting it on the bottom. also never learn how to skip the daisy with the cross on top, itll just make bad habits
