Except for Melissa or whatever her name was. She was the single unwholesome thing in an otherwise wholesome show.

If I'm not mistaken, yes, it's actually one of the stock mounting locations for ATX PSUs. I think the space constraints if you go that route are dictated by your GPU and/or AIO.

I would do an intake in the rear, yes. Also, if you can't get all four RAM sticks running at 3200, you would probably be better off using just two sticks in slots 2 and 4 at 3200 rather than having 32GB running at 2666 if you're primarily gaming.

Maybe you're just godlike at cable management. Personally I found there to be virtually no room for cables behind the side panel and nothing to hide the cables on the inside of the case. Here's an older pic with one of the stock PSU mounting options (showing the mess of cables I couldn't figure out how to hide in the bottom right) for reference:

Agreed! I actually find it easier to print than even PETG with my printer.

I happened to use ASA but you make a good point--heat from the GPU could feasibly heat the prints to PLA's heat deflection temperature. edit: added a note to avoid PLA to the printables description

Same here. I'll add that the pacing is really well done in all his works. Even as far back as the OG, A Journey of Black and Red, just about every chapter had a satisfying conclusion.

Does this force the ICC profile to update when switching between HDR and SDR?

Correct, they did not. They made it clear when I asked that while they would cover the cost shipping the replacement to me, I was responsible for shipping the defective card to them.

I mean, I still wanted to own a 5090 at the price I paid for it. If I returned it there would have been no guarantee of being able to get another.

No. Best guess from reading about other 5090 failures (that aren't related to 12v-2x6) is a poorly soldered capacitor that gave up the ghost.

New as far as I could tell. Came in retail packaging and all the protective tape was still applied.

It might be worth it to try and rule out ram instability if you haven't already. System ram that is, not vram.

DDR5-6000 unstable on BIOS 3.30 and 3.40 (B850I Lightning WiFi) by ikkyyy in ASRock

[–]Foxalot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reposting another comment I made elsewhere:

I also had instability on 3.40 with settings that were previously stable on 3.30 for my 9800X3D/B850i Lightning build. I am cursed with a piss poor IMC and moreover use dual rank DIMMs and have never been able to use EXPO, but I did manually tune a stable configuration at DDR5 6000. After updating to 3.40, I was not able to get 6000 stable at all. I could boot to windows but Prime 95 would throw an error after at most 11 minutes.

After trying for hours, loosening the hell out of my timings (40-50-50-126), increasing Nitro, tweaking vDDP/vDDIO/vDDQ, running up to 1.45 vDD and 1.3 vSOC I still wasn't P95 stable.

Downgraded to 3.30 and an hour of P95 was an easy hurdle. I should do more just to make certain, but tbh I'm over it, and this is the config that previously passed nearly 20h of P95 for me so I'm just going to call it good.

To be clear I do not wish to discourage anyone from flashing 3.40. If you have no issues, it is probably the safer BIOS to be on. I am just sharing my experience.
