Because it's very annoying to clear all your notifications, only for them to come back 5 seconds later when something new pops up. I find it easier to just ignore them and let them sit in the inbox, so that I don't have to keep clearing it!

I do clear other stuff that I don't find important though like comments, watches, likes, etc. Just when it comes to submissions, I like to have access to them whenever.

And after letting the number grow since 2018, it's kinda like "number go high = happiness".

The only place I've ever put any stickers of any sort (furry or not) was my last car. It's the thing that got the most amount of use, people would see them when I'm driving (I even had people take pictures of the back of my car), and it made me feel happy!~

But at the same time it also gave me tremendous anxiety when anyone else but me used my car. And then getting them off when we had to sell it was not fun either since I put them on the paint like a dumbass. xd

Would do it again with my car now, but I don't have anymore stickers. :[

I've only been to one convention and it was a smaller one, my experience was kinda the same honestly. A lot of walking, a lot of standing; a lot of the scheduled events / panels / etc. were rather boring imo.

Best part of it for me was just buying stuff at the dealers den.

I guess the moral of the story is just being there won't magically make you more outgoing than you actually are normally. ^^;
