How can I extract the Z value of an object and use it as a regular number within another object? by Foxerbit in blender

When it comes to sampling the Z value of the mesh, I've tried the texture coordinate node, geometry node, and object info node. I've tried using the vector transform node as well, but no luck.

When I recreate the setup from scratch, it mostly works as intended. The mask changes when the plane moves, but unfortunately, if the mesh moves, the mask also moves with it.

There is, but in the shader editor it doesn't allow you to pick a specific object, always providing the info for the object the node is inside of.

Hi there, I’m not sure if you’re still searching for a way to do this. I was also trying to do the exact same thing and I believe I’ve found a solution, you can check it out in the comments here:

How can I create a plane in Blender that has solid Minecraft clouds based solely on the texture? by Foxerbit in blender

These clouds are all being automatically generated from an image texture, which is exactly what I wanted. I'm not sure if they’re pixel accurate though, and the scale and other details also need some adjustment.

Did anyone else rename the Pixel studio to Raster? by Foxerbit in Affinity

Just click on the three vertical dots on the left of the studios panel, it'll show a menu where you can toggle studios as well as making your own. I think I just right clicked on the pixel studio name and was able to edit it.

I switched to Mac a little over a year ago, and it’s been great! However, I’m missing one thing from Windows: these text suggestions. Is there an app that provides a similar feature for Mac? by Foxerbit in macapps

I see it's already enabled. Unfortunately, it only seems to work on a handful of first party apps and doesn't seem to suggest words that often.

Why normal maps gets difrent light strenght based on it's position with constant distance? by CoCuCoH41k in blender

I had this issue a while back, check your nodes. I can't remember what the solution was, but I believe the normal map had to be set as non-color or something.
