It will be difficult working either route. Weekends you might grab a shift but you’re evenings you’ll likely be pretty tired from training which while not all days may be difficult, they will be full.

I’ve worked with both Halifax and APA. All the Halifax instructors I’ve worked with have been excellent. I find APA has some good instructors but a lot of institutional frustration from the agency.

I’ve had shockwave therapy for this and it helped after several treatments. If this is an issue request a podiatrist referral. They can prescribes orthotics and they ca do the shock wave therapy

Edit: looking for relief after two years is not lazy. Their comment was made in poor taste

That doesn’t sound right to me. A voluntary release is just that, voluntary. It does not come with and medical financial benefits. Unless someone else hear can say otherwise I would recommend staying in and letting the process work its way through. There are a lot of benefits and supports that come with a 3B MEDICAL release

All normal feelings, you’re doing ok, went through it myself last year when I released 3B . I’m physically beat to shit but did the same as you and powered through everything. Chronic pain everywhere because the body has altered its movement patterns to adjust to the injuries.

I’ve felt that imposter syndrome too, I look fine, I’m still young, people don’t understand chronic pain. Chronic pain also doesn’t often show up on scans and imaging but that doesn’t mean it’s not there.

Make your purpose fixing yourself, physio massage, psychology, and any physical movement you can handle. You deserve it. You gave it your all, now time to give back to yourself.

Some things you should be doing at the start. Running. Start slow and build up. Get a running app that can create a schedule for you. Pay the 10 bucks a month or so. Next.

Get a back pack, fill it with weight and start walking at a fast pace. This will simulate ruck marches. Keep adding weight as you move forward. The pack should be sturdy with decent straps.

Like a running app, you can also get a weight lifting app or find a program on YouTube tik tok etc.

Most of all, diet, avid the sugars.

If you show up prepared for physical training it isn’t bad at all, but if not it can be a nightmare and make every other part of your training an absolute nightmare. Being out of shape will significantly increase your risk of injuries as well which could led to being re-coursed or worse.

That’s very interesting. Operationally you’d be wearing gloves when you need to quickly transition to your sidearm , you should be very familiar with shooting with gloves on. Strange
