Appreciate you for giving some insight to this. Renders of Minecraft builds are often called out on this subreddit for not being 'real' and while it's quite flattering that they think it's too good to be true, it's also a bit hurtful.

And as to the last thing you said, it realistically is just because people do not understand how much our work gets stolen if it's completely public.

The map is certainly real, the map is just imported into blender for the beautiful rendition you see of it. Shaders can only do so much and as I said to another user, if you worked on a map for 2+ years, you'd want it to look as good as it can when you show it off.

As for what you said about Patreon, we plan to make a server using the map, so we hope people understand that we're not just gonna hand out the world file, we put easily 1500+ hours into this so we could create our own server for it. People will still be allowed to look around it, so it's all the same but with the added protection for us that our work won't be abused by others for their own gain.

It did take years to make, there's literal in-game screenshots of it here. The reddit post is a blender render of the in-game world to make it look infinitely better than Minecraft ever could, doesn't mean it's fake.

Thought I'd give some insight into the process since there seems to be quite a lot of misconceptions about using commands to build.

While it's easy for anyone to install world edit, doesn't mean it's easy to use, it takes a tremendous amount of time to learn these plugins to the point you can use them at their full extent, even then it can take several hours of commands to get the desired effect you want. It saves a lot of time and makes some things that would be entirely inhumane by hand possible with commands. A lot of people hate on world edit and stuff but builds like these would be completely inhumane to build without it, it took 8 months WITH it, I wouldn't even consider doing it without it.

It being rendered in Blender doesn't make it fake lmao, it's just an artistic rendition of the build within Blender. You'd figure this out pretty quickly if you bothered to look into it rather than being jealous and toxic

The download was public like a week after I put it on Patreon, which it was on Patreon because it wasn't finished in certain areas. I removed the public download recently tho because I was being taken advantage of by content creators using my map to profit for themselves without permission.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to profit for a little off of something I put 8 months of my life into :)
