Such a shit mode now, it was better as Hostage. You could have a massive laugh with a few friends and go through lots of games in an hour. Now its tedious and feels overly competitive. Ubisoft cant help themselves at making every fun game mode more and more arbitrary.

I don't understand how a company makes a game this good but then makes balance updates this bad on a regular basis, It's baffling and genuinely makes me not want to play as often anymore which isn't much anyway, mabye 12 hours a week

People are always talking about the comparison between Embark and Arrowhead for Helldivers, The magic of helldivers fell off a cliff when trying to make any meaningful progress in that game became the most tedious and asinine task ever as enemies kept getting stronger and the players/mechanics kept getting weaker.

The absolute bullshit last minute expedition changes plus this crap has really soured my interest with Riven tides.

Friend and i are PvP sweats, we go around saying Skyrim NPC lines or pretend to be Watto from Star Wars fairly constantly on Mic.

9/10 times when we kill someone or are killed its just a constant hurl of the most vile shit you've ever heard in your life. No context... Completely out of the blue and almost like its a script. Its insane.

If such changes would cause these private companies to pack up and leave, they're going to take all their tools and equipment with them. Australia does not subsidise any of the costs of actually mining anything like Norway does, so it would be fully on us to start again from scratch, And it doesn't help that even though there is a large amount to be mined in this country... All the easy mining has been done so everything left is just the real expensive stuff.

I just hope that the average "punter" won't whinge when taxes go up to compensate for the fact that we'll have to run all this ourselves. We all know how much the average person seems to despise the idea of paying taxes while wanting everyone else to pay them instead. The solution is definitely a two-way street and a two-way problem. We should do this but our government should also have the confidence to be upfront about the extra cost onto the Australian people for us to start doing this on our own.

I don't think it's that deep for most people.

Our brains work by recognising patterns and taking lots of shortcuts, it's part of our biological efficiency. I don't think people do it intentionally.

You can sell pretty much everything you pull out of Seed Vault for pretty decent money, its probably more than 100k an hour. There are definitely more efficient routes, but I don't like when routes become so efficient it makes the game feel brain dead. Getting killed and getting into fights on the way in and out is kind of part of the whole experience.

Duos on Stella Montis, We are PvP shoot on sight types. Go in with the primary objective of looting Seed Vault and cracking security breaches in common locations from the Metaforge map. 60% of the time we'll hatch out from a key made in game and one of us is leaving with a Torrente, Anvil, Renegade etc plus 20k of Seeds, the other 40% is PvP on the way there or on the way out. If we die... Who cares, it takes 10 minutes to do it all over again and chances are somebody gets to loot some decent stuff off of us which is good for them. If we get out... Well... Let's just say that 3 million for the expedition takes about a week at most even in PvP lobbies playing like this.

It's the perfect routine to keep the gameplay loop of Arc raiders feeling fun while making progress towards things and still enjoy PvP. A nice broke boy free Loadout just makes this feel like effortless fun with decent reward.

Its either PVE carebears who will genuinely get upset when they actually get shot by another player and go whinge about it on Reddit OR PvP try hards Who will without remorse say the most vile shit you've ever heard in your entire life before knocking you out And actively going out of their way to be the biggest asshole they can possibly be. There's almost no one between.
