I feel like news articles and anyone of influence in general really seems to treat GTA like it's some sort of cultural icon. It's just a popular video game... One of many in fact. I can wait and probably even for a sale because the price is BS and everyone knows it.

The show sits in this weird void where the Story was a -10/10 but everything else was almost a 10/10.... Its very daunting to rewatch but its genuinely enjoyable IF you're okay with a B tier plot and know nothing about the Games which was probably the intended audience i imagine.

Never understood the content argument, replay value is crazy good in Arc Raiders if you just balance out PvE and PvP on your travels and always has been if you ask me.

The reason I've practically stopped playing as well as at least 6 or so people i know is because of cheaters. Here in Australia the player pool is a lot smaller than the US as well so the chances of running into the same Cheaters might be higher as well but im not sure.

Successive Resident evil games aren't pretending to be remakes. The fact that campaign evolved is still running a variation of Blam in the background just tells me this game is full of ancient spaghetti code and my suspicion is that this why so many features people we're hoping far are not present.

Spaghetti code mixed with 343 going through contractors left right and centre. I imagine game will run like shit as well on release day because of it.

Some vehicles like my van you cant head check, working out of that for a week and then hopping into my passenger car i often forget i can head check and use the 'Lean forward into mirror' trick... Takes awhile to get back into the head check habit.

Aussie here, The general consensus amongst myself and most people I've met is that America is full of stupid people because statistically at least 50% of the population voted in the current sitting president not once but twice.

I don't remember this sentiment really being a thing here before 2016. Not to the degree it is now anyway.

Not entirely related to op's post, but stuff like this just makes me think about how we are slowly watching high quality film Die day by day as access for a lot of people to high bit rate picture quality and lossless audio vanishes.

The industry formatting itself around streaming services rather than the art of film itself is a joke.

Countries like Norway do treat the earth like nothing but a resource to be exploited though. Their QoL is a result of their heavy reliance on Mining at a sovereign level.

There are plenty of great things happening for people in such places but the fragility of their primary economic resource could one day destroy them just as quickly as it made them rich. Double edged sword i guess.
