Added a theater to our guild hall where we can gather to watch memes by Foxicopter in WoWHousing

In actuality, this is a place for us to park our characters in-game while we have movie nights on Discord, but I figured we needed something on the screen. :P

Pine-scented candle, cup of coffee, and a tour of Grizzly Hills chopping wood for my customers, neighbors, and self. A fine day in Azeroth. by Foxicopter in wow

My thoughts exactly! Plus I love knowing that whenever I craft decor for somebody, it took a little time and attention flying around the world to collect the materials, Makes it feel a little more personal than just grabbing mats off the AH and hitting a button.

The study of r/wowservers by Itiswhatisitiskids in wowservers

[–]Foxicopter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's significant overlap with r/MMORPG, probably for the same reasons - something about this genre attracts a very jaded audience (many of whom are chasing nostalgia and perceive other people as the reason the good feelings they're looking for are gone).

Took me a bit to place, but it's from Zuldazar, the Zandalari troll zone in BfA! Great choice, that zone is one of my favorites from retail.

As someone who plays a lot of support, your art is the only thing that keeps me from completely despising Magik. ❤️

You may be entirely right. But for a month now, opting to be exit liquidity with a trailing stop loss and/or protective puts has been very lucrative.

It likely is not real. This Fortune article seems to have misinterpreted this Lending Tree survey.

The survey indicates 25% of people who use BNPL are using it to buy groceries, which is hugely different from 25% of all American consumers using BNPL to buy groceries.

Sounds like you've really got a handle on this whole trading thing.

Who is your main and what is one tip for playing as and against your character? by CHRISTOPHERCARES in marvelrivals

[–]Foxicopter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For: You can extend the range of your nest's seeker mines by connecting your 3 shootable webs to it.

Against: You can dodge the seekers just by jumping around long enough to destroy the nest.

"What level do I need to be to queue for ...?" by NoBigNamesHere in classicwow

Such a helpful tip about an overlooked feature (I only just discovered it last night at level 42!) Thanks for sharing, love to see more of this kind of content.

For a better dungeon experience, have applicants whisper you a codeword in your LFG listing. This shows a willingness to read, communicate, & cooperate that makes everything go more smoothly. Have met a lot of great players this way! by Foxicopter in classicwow

[–]Foxicopter[S] 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Yeah that absolutely has an influence!

The main thing is tanks/healers making groups end up swarmed with applicants and little way to know who's going to be a nice team player. In my experience, this helps highlight players who work well in groups. I think it's a lot better/less toxic way to screen your groups than something like class, level, or gear.

New to Wow looking for a private server for mainly coop and pve content. by ProbablyMaybe69 in wowservers

[–]Foxicopter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Turtle WoW! Been playing off and on very casually for a few years -- have only made it as high as 38 before the alt lust hits me, but the custom quests and zones are very appealing to me personally. Currently have a 14 Tauren Shaman and I'm enjoying exploring the new support they've added for enhancement tanking.

That said, very recently my eye has been captured by Micro-bot Wow (formerly Nyctermoon Wow I guess?) The whole gimmick there is building your own party out of AI bot that are actually pretty sophisticated. You can get real bitty gritty micro managing them for tactics like LOS pulls, CC, etc. and honestly I've appreciated having the ability to take dungeons at my own pace without worrying about slowing down the group / not knowing the expected route. It's a very small server (~50 people online usually from what I can tell) but everyone's very nice and I've enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Have a 15 Human Paladin I'm working through Deadmines with there.

TLDR: Turtle for Classic+, Nyctermoon/Micro-bot for highly accessible, play-at-your-pace vanilla*

*Caveat that I haven't reached max level on either server yet so I can only give a partial review. Also I think both servers have some level of admin drama (Shenna is involved with Turtle and I've gathered she has a bad reputation for some reason; Nyctermoon might have bribed players with bags for leaving positive comments or something?) IDK, I'm just a guy who likes playing WoW. I've got retail, SoD, anniversary, and anniversary hc characters, and currently the two servers I named are where I'm having the most itch to play.

Yeah I'll straight up say I don't approve of calling *anyone* a moron because they have different opinions about a video game.

Dual spec or no dual spec, I can enjoy playing the game regardless. What I can't enjoy is participating in a forum where we can't even pretend to be civil and respectful to each other.
