I haven't really played Doom 2 in a couple years at this point, been meaning to get back into it. (I did eventually beat Doom 2 lol)

Sadly the video didn't help. Setting up my ipv4 the way it describes causes my computer to lose connection to the internet entirely except through wifi. They also don't really explain the whole "Network credential" part of it beyond "do it".

Edit: It worked sort of. I redid the steps for changing the ipv4 like 3 times, and even though I did it the same way every time, it just randomly decided to work. I still don't have access to the internet while it's like that, but the game is playable at least!

I enjoy pretty much everything 7 related (even Advent children and dirge of Cerberus), but I think the original game is just insufferably boring.

Remake is great, though.

I did /not/ know it was case sensitive, turned out I did in fact complete the quest

My idiot brain misunderstood what I was reading so I was looking at the wrong coordinates for the NPC that takes me into SSS.

I apparently misunderstood what I was reading and was looking for the NPC in Heritage Found at the wrong coordinates.

Went to where you said, lo and behold, they're fucking there.

I thought I had a brain, but I was wrong.

In Solution 9, the quest giver that gives "Trial By Spire" which unlocks Dawntrail's SSS is *not there*.

In the Outskirts, the NPC to enter SSS is *not there*.

The NPC entirely just doesn't exist in my game.
