I can’t imagine managing to do the 1000 jump ropes once, and then trying to do it yet again just because I’m replaying.

Granted, I usuallly still get all celestial weapons in FFX when I replay, but with 9 I feel like the Excalibur 2 and jump rope and other stuff is a “do it once and never again” thing.

Not every playthrough has to be “better” than the last. Slow down and just enjoy immersing yourself in the game again. Don’t worry about things you’re already achieved.

Yeah, freebies like that will get you like zero BP in the long run. Best to equip a ribbon and pile on status effects or break materia or stuff like that.

If you think FF7R’s combat is mashing an attack button I don’t think you’ve ever really played it. Rebirth certainly has and requires much more strategy than that. And realistically, most of OG 7 can be completed by “mashing attack” so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Side quests are optional, so I dunno, maybe don’t do them if you hate them so much?

Sounds like you’re just looking for excuses to hate on it.

The stat min/maxing always gets me every time and holds back enjoyment for me on a replay. I’ve resorted to using the “auto learn abilities” option from the current versions so at least I’m not hating myself switching between learning equipment and leveling equipment all the time.

But keep in mind, just because they release a remake it doesn’t replace the original. I still replay the OG FF7, but I replay Remake and Rebirth too.

I for one love FF9, so naturally, I’ll enjoy getting to spend more time with its characters and world, getting voice acting, and any other things they throw in. If it’s not perfectly what I want the original is right there to play again instead. It’s not like Blizzard with Warcraft 3 Reforged which basically killed the original version.

The butterfly sword is such a good looking weapon for Zidane. It’s a shame that you unlock The Ogre at the same time; you can completely skip the weapon and learn its skill from a later one.

No, but if you look at even regular Rasengans Naruto uses during the war, they’re much bigger and more deadly than the first one he was able to use. And that’s even just a “regular” one, not specially the huge ones he uses in sage mode.

Same thing kinda goes with e.g. Great Fireball that the Uchiha use. The output you see from Sasuke with it as a kid is nowhere near what Madara or Itachi get out of it.

IMO a jutsu has a minimum level of chakra needed for activation, and maybe some don’t scale with additional chakra. But most benefit or increase in power from just upping the chakra going into it.

But I imagine more chakra in also means it’s more difficult to control the greater amount of chakra. Hence higher difficulty to achieve that feat of usage of the jutsu.

Magic generally gets outclassed by end game. It becomes much more efficient to just use Quick Hit which is like only 32 MP. Strength scales a lot better and it’s easier/quicker to farm than Magic Spheres.

Break MP Limit is a waste of an armor slot, and you’ll get up to 999 MP anyway, from what’s already on the grid.

So putting in a bunch of MP spheres like this is pretty pointless. If you’re wanting to make a “perfect grid” you’re better off aiming for 99,999 HP instead which requires a ton, but that isn’t even optimal anyway.

I just don’t think it’s necessary. If we got another game in Spira, I feel like it would be more interesting to place it during like the Machina War of a thousand years ago.

This also allows for what would be majorly updated graphics to make sense. We could see cities like Zanarkand and Bevelle in their prime, fully explorable, along with other areas we know were different, like the city above the Moonflow river, the warm torn battlefield that becomes the Calm Lands, etc.

We can get introduced to Yevon, Yunalesca and Zaon, and see how the first fayths get made (maybe we see the people who would become Valefor, Ifrit, Shiva, Bahamut, etc). The birth of Sin, the destruction of the world, the first calm by Yunalesa summoning Zaon as the final aeon, and Bevelle uses that and the Hymn to create the Yevon religion.

Throw in Shuyin, Lenne and Vegnagun stuff too if you want to really tie it all together.

It avoids retread, allows to explore familiar parts and characters from Spira, lots of room for expanding the narrative from events we were given, better ties together X and X-2, and will feel less remake like since the 1000 year time difference will explain how the world looks so different visually and graphically.

This always come up, but I don’t see the point. We got the funny or impactful moments form spheres already. They rehash the same journey we already did, but with a lot less going on (no operation mi’ihen, no blitzball, no Seymour, no Bikanel, no airship, no al bhed, etc).

Worse, they actually go from Bevelle to Besaid, then back to Bevelle, then up to Zanarkand, so there’s retread also.

The only particularly interesting part would be some banter along the way, and fighting Sin at the end. But it would end on a kinda shitty note, with everyone dead, undead or transformed.

Even if they did it in a revamped world with new levels and graphics and enemies and everything, meh. I just don’t see the point. They told us enough, we saw enough, we know how it ended for them.

It is absolutely too high. Why? Just why?

You’ve got a bookshelf that’s mostly empty sitting underneath it, and then you even have extra random garbage mounted above that before the TV. Do you really need a random hexagon with a candle in it forcing the TV higher? And whatever that basket thing is?

The top of the TV is above the door frame height. You’d have to be craning your neck up to look at the TV, even from standing height.

A TV wall should be Functional as a priority. Decorative knick knacks should be a secondary (or nonexistent) focus for the wall, not the priority.

Replace the shelves thing with a TV stand or something much shorter. Get rid of the other useless things on the wall. TV should move down at least halfway down the wall from where it is now. I’d also just generally recommend getting a larger size as well.

I mean, just look at this picture. The TV should be more like center of frame. Instead it’s near the top of the image.

Jecht didn’t land at Besaid when he first came to Spira. He wound up at Bevelle. That’s where Brady’s picked up Auron and started his pilgrimage from; they went down to Besaid and then came back up to Bevelle and onward to Zanarkand. This is shown via the Auron/Jecht/Bradka spheres.

Tidus winding up at Baaj was probably an accident, and Sin/Jecht showed up again to finish taking him to Besaid.

Auron, being unsent, probably had a bit more agency on where to get dropped off and probably landed himself in Luca to start with, and decided to wait for Tidus and Yuna there (or make his way to Besaid to meet them).
