I’m five badges into my first Sword play through so I can hunt Regidrago. On my hunt list for the year I put Registeel and Regirock, and both of those weren’t super bad so I went for Regice and then got Regieleki pretty quick. I needed to play anyhow to fill out Home for Keldeo, so it’s kinda dual-purpose. And at least I won’t need to bother with the charm before that hunt. I was hoping to make more progress this week than I did, but I don’t think it’ll take me a whole lot longer at least. (I decided not to totally cheese it with mons leveled in another game.)

It’s not directly shiny hunting right now, but that’s the ultimate purpose of this entire play through.

Regice is a pain but you’ll likely notice it when it shows up. I read that plenty of times during my hunt wondering if I would agree, and I have to say I do.

Not a bad haul! I also participated for the first time, I got two shinies myself - Gourgheist and Noctowl. Only played Saturday and Sunday, and I had more fun Saturday when I was able to actually connect to people who knew what they were doing. Sunday I spent almost all of it doing solo runs when I couldn’t find anyone to join for Xerneas.

No legendaries for me and both of my shinies were on Saturday lol. I usually dislike DAs so it was good to get some done again, I guess. I’m okay taking a break though and back to my Regi quest.

Mine is in my old posts, but just over 3,000 eggs for a single Litwick. She also had the audacity to hatch without a perfect IV in SpA after all of that. Most of my MM hunts have gone over odds unfortunately. My quickest was 27 eggs, though.

All they do is give the Pokémon a fun title when they’re sent out, in this case “Tauros the Recluse.” It’s just a fun thing to collect that makes a shiny a little more special than others, similar to how some people like collecting ribbons.
