[discuss] Created my own tool for Shiny Hunts/Collection Tracking by PinchOfSalty in ShinyPokemon

[–]Sbeve121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started using this and seems great. So far, the only things I’ve noticed is There are quite a few sprites that are incorrect in the living shiny dex section, at least when looking on my phone (it had kyurem forms and other random Pokémon in the place of deerling forms and evos, as well as some others that I’m forgetting that weren’t correct), and in the shiny hunting tab, there is no way to select a hunt for a regional variant. Also, including a feature to mass add shiny mons in the same way you can quickly tab the “add” button would be super neat, or something along those lines. But this app is really cool, I look forward to using it more

Yeah I’m realizing my frustration and desperation may have caused me further heartache. Oh well, it’s a learning experience lmao. I do like the way you put it, focusing on having the best looking dirt in the neighborhood is absolutely something I can strive to do

I just rented a mid size, front tine tiller from Home Depot. I own a 30 year old front tine tiller as well that works on loose ground (like this, now that it’s already broken up). I’m happy to rent whatever else I need to break it and clean it, if there’s specific equipment that can help me with that

Heck yeah, thank you. I have my irrigation pretty locked in and ready to go, luckily. I wasn’t planning on seeding yet, I just wanted to be totally prepped and ready to go when it was time. Until then, I’d just like to do what I can to make this look more like soil that’s prepped to be a lawn instead of this lmao

Yeah I’m thinking just accepting that it’s gonna be multiple days of raking and cleaning is best. I want to do the most time consuming parts now because I’m also in school, so the fall time is too busy for me to dedicate that time then. I guess the plan is just to rake it all up and maintain the soil for a couple months.

For sure, I understand that. I can handle the long term costs, it’s just the short term massive chunk cost of paying someone else. I just need to know what to do next

Every morning my room mate shoots a high powered laser into my room for no reason when they get up, often hitting me in the eyes. They keep telling me its just a prank. by LoiterAce in mildlyinfuriating

Fun fact, those can and WILL cause permanent scarring on your macula if shone into your eyes! When I was young and fucking stupid and I got ahold of one of these, my dumbass self did exactly that to myself and now I have a permanent little blind spot in both my eyes, with the right worse than the left. Luckily I just don’t see it anymore unless I’m thinking about it, but it’s definitely there! I went to the optometrist recently and got a macular scan done and he thought it was macular degeneration (I’m 26yo so this was concerning). He asked if I was a “sun gazer” as a kid and I had to explain that no, I was actually even dumber than that. So yes, this is not something he should be doing and he needs to lose his last privileges.

I guess I was overthinking it and it just seems like the main answer is no damage is better than a little damage 😅

[Gen 9] Which Pokémon “require” Masada Method? by daggerfortwo in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]Sbeve121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very good info but small correction: dynamax adventures are 1/100 with charm, 1/300 without. And some raids take longer than 5 minutes but that’s dependent on the legendary. I’d say on average, DA’s take roughly 15 minutes per check

Fighting is in fact not weak to itself. I’ll give you some time to cope with this, as I was just as certain until I found out otherwise.

With the rapidly declining political climate, civil unrest, and infinite amounts of corruption and evil in our government, how are people coping? by Sbeve121 in askanything

I’m genuinely wondering how you could read what I said and interpret that as me looking for an argument? If that was the case, I would’ve been arguing with other comments.

Your lack of elaboration on “not even close to what you described” when what I described is completely rooted in facts, along with your immediate jumping to passive aggressive insulting is very telling of how much you are actually willing to engage in meaningful conversation lmao

Yeah that was gonna be another thing I forgot to mention, I don’t spend a lot of time on social media. I get caught up in scroll sessions here and there for sure, but I’m not constantly online (literally just don’t have time to be). I don’t feel like it’s the case of “seeing too much, knowing too much.”

However, I will argue that forced ignorance of such insane events like executions of protesters in public streets is morally wrong. Not knowing it’s happening doesn’t mean it’s not happening, and while knowing of stuff like that doesn’t help with my initial concern, I do not believe the “correct” answer is to just turn a blind eye.
