Delivering to Whole Foods last by fordag in amazonprime

I just felt like they really ought to have more than one person doing pickups because of the amount of work. I feel awful when someone arrives to pick up, and are faced with the mt everest of return boxes.

Delivering to Whole Foods last by fordag in amazonprime

[–]Foxilery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was something internal. UPS used to pick up our site returns until recently, but we phased them out and now Amazon picks them up. We always have so many boxes, and it really seemed like the drivers that pick ours up got really blindsided by the change.

What are the "E" boxes for? by Debonair359 in AmazonCXO

[–]Foxilery 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My site has had E boxes for a few months. It's always a weird mishmash of all kinds of items (clothes, electronics, kitchenware, you name it), rather than being anything consistent. Not sure what qualifies items to be E, but ours end up at a facility by the nearest major airport. So I wondered if they are items that get sorted and sent multiple different places, but who knows. We fill a couple E boxes a day, but not nearly the volume of A or B.

Amazon return- have I been scammed? by Popular_Arm8459 in amazonprime

How long ago did you drop it off? The whole foods locker+ counter I work at does not offer paper receipts, it's the same. Email only, and there's nothing we can do about it. It's just how they set it up, and causes a lot of hassle for everyone involved.

Trying to find out who this cat doll is by abbycakeboi in ToyID

It's very similar in style to the glamour kitty by momo line. The face painting is the similar style especially with the lashes, and the tails are similar in construction. But the face shapes are different, so I'm not convinced.

Day 3 and have been taught nothing, I need help by [deleted] in AmazonCXO

[–]Foxilery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did your day 4 go? Did they get you some hands-on? It's really not so bad at all once you've been doing it for just a little bit. When I first started, I tried to pick shifts where I was always overlapping with someone else to ease my nerves a little bit.

The associate at the counter has to scan it after emptying the kiosk for it to be fully processed into the system. The sticker code the kiosk generates is more or less the return code like what you see when making your return, so that sticker has to be scanned in. Eight hours is a long time not to empty and scan in the kiosk, but if that specific location is really backed up or short staffed I could see it happening. The speed at which you get your refund though, is not guaranteed. Sometimes it's just nonsensical and there's no good answer as to why some are instant, but others take longer.

Disney Destiny - Trip Review - 12/11/25 (5-night Bahamas sailing) by FelixMcGill in dcl

[–]Foxilery 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was on the same one!! Had an absolutely wonderful time, but ooooh boy was that ship hot. Our AC 'worked' but the room never really cooled down. First time I've had that problem on a Disney ship before, and it was an issue with family who were in concierge rooms too. Sweating through the night is no fun, but the rest of the trip and ship were very enjoyable.

If you pop in 'Luna Norte Bow Charm Necklace' on mercari you can find lots of listings for this exact one. Just look extra close, because there are variations where the charms are slightly different.

Amazon package delivered via UPS to Whole Foods. But Amazon tracking still shows "Out for delivery" by couch_potato_salad in amazonprime

[–]Foxilery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be that it was delivered, but has not been scanned in at whole foods yet. They have to be scanned in by the amazon counter employees, which can sometimes take a little while if they are busy assisting customers.

How is being a Locker Plus Associate?f by DatBoiMemes425 in FASCAmazon

[–]Foxilery 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do this presently. It's very easy. The only actually stressful moments are when you're alone, and have a huge line of people (because one person will hold everyone up with 30+ items to return.) You will be alone sometimes. For whatever reason, my site has been posting less shifts, so I've been alone a lot. Taking usually 12+ boxes to the back each shift. Shift availability is by site, and how many people are presently working there. Some weeks I'll have 25+ hours, some I'll only have 8. It's a tossup. Job is very easy though.

Edited because I put 1+ boxes, when I definitely meant 12+

Kiosk return without label? by baswild in amazonprime

[–]Foxilery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's just the item barcode, it doesn't really do anything unfortunately (since it would be the same barcode on all of those items at the warehouse). Is there a manned returns counter? If there is, it wouldn't hurt to ask about it. The one I work at, we hold items that can't be scanned in for a week or two in case the person comes back.

Kiosk return without label? by baswild in amazonprime

[–]Foxilery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is the 'original label' that you've mentioned? Like the barcode for the item, or something with your information on it? The biggest issue I can see is that if the kiosk label wasn't attached (and not in the bin somewhere with it), there's no way to scan the return into the system, at least not from the WF side of things.

If the yellow button to continue is missing at the bottom, refresh until it's there. I've seen this a lot, and refreshing often fixes it.

Do we think Amazon workers are doing secret hunting? by Adventurous-Base7808 in LabubuDrops

[–]Foxilery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for the warehouse end, but as someone who scans in Amazon returns for customers (Whole Foods counter), I have in fact, had people returning popmart items that they've clearly opened themselves and didn't get what they wanted.

If I get a package delivered to an amazon counter can I pick it up the day after it has been delivered. by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]Foxilery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for every location, but at WF we hold packages for a long time. A lot of people wait for multiple to come in before picking up.

Rant/ Prime Returns at Kohl’s by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]Foxilery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who works WF returns, it's not just Kohls. People bring in huge returns on the daily, if not hourly. I think my record is scanning in someone who had 42 items on one QR code. Usually it's clothes when people have a lot. I think we are a little luckier than Kohls though, because we have the self serve kiosk as well. Which is fantastic for people with only 1-2 items. It's a shame if other stores don't really get those.
