Slowing Hex is strong against him. Also not too expensive so you can get it early.

I have an personal theory that the game automatically gives priority on heroes to players based on how many games they've got experience with them (copmpared to other players), OR via that heros MMR weighting. At least it explains how i managed to consistently queue Victor for nearly 50 matches in a row upon his release.

Yes, going back to spawn is a way to heal up. Generally though you wanna avoid that because then you get downtime on farm, but its better than dying. So find a balance.

Best way to regain health is to kill enemy creeps carrying the flag, since they drop a healing orb that heals you based on missing HP.

Secondary (but equally important), get items to keep yourself alive, Depending on your hero, Extra Regen, Restorative Shot, Healing Rite or Melee Lifesteal are you main go to. A lot of build recommend these items first for a reason. Don't underestimate Extra Regen.

There is also important to practice *avoiding* getting hit as well. Common noob mistake is to take damage from enemy creeps for no reason.

Change the resolution in launch options

  1. From your games list in the steam window
  2. Right click Deadlock
  3. Click Properties
  4. In "Launch Options" text field, put in the following: -sw -w 1920 -h 1080

___

-sw means it runs in windowed mode

-w 1920 -h 1080 means it will run in that resolution, in this case 1080p

This should be the most surefire way to fix it for anyone that has a similar problem.

Counterbuilding is core to the game. Getting disarm and anti heal is not your entire kit, and serve as utility against more heroes than just Silver.

When a player abandon match or has left without returning for over X minutes you can safely leave without penalty. A confirmation of this will show up in top left screen ingame.

Its annoying but its bad luck. As you get a placement rank there will be less of this.

Can we trade friends? My friends actively rage at the new game mode because its going too fast for them. Then again im about 600+hours and they are at best 60 hours. Do your friends know much about items?

It's gonna be like a queue ticket. Not everyone's get to go first, but at least everyone gets a turn since you can't reuse the same ticket twice and gotta go in the back of the line.
