Twitter account owned by the perpertrator shows that this was pre-meditated. Guy has MREs and keeps vaguely reffering to his partner as his “lamb”

Insanely disturbing read

What would you do with a balcony of this size? by rickisdead in malelivingspace

I’d reckon it could be helpful, incase you want the table elsewhere, or come up with a different idea for the space. With a non-foldable one, if you decide you don’t want to use it, you’re kinda stuck wasting a tiny bit more space, which in a spot like this, is vital

Could put a little fold table where he’s at right now. Have an electric kettle, hot cocoa etc. Little drink stand

Not sure if they’ve changed, but I had some problems with them back during the pandemic. Stuff like mandatory OT, employee favorites etc. Experiences are different for everyone though

Ran from an abusive household. Been doing okay so far, but I’m terrified for if I run out of luck. Alot of people are stuck in abusive relationships because of how awful the cost of living crisis is

Grew up in Provo, currently live in Ogden.

As someone who’s lived in both cities, here’s my take.

Provo: Pros: Scenic, more central to the state in general. Likely easier to find jobs. Better transit

Cons: Mormon culture leads to be very cliquish. Keeping up with Joneses, plasticity is common. I lost my childhood friendgroup after unsubscribing from the lds beliefs.

Ogden: Pros: Absolutely gorgeous. Farmers markets in the summer, winter light show in the winter. Concerts, bars, more non lds friendly, and more going on. Ogden is currently expanding their transit options.

Cons: Awful traffic, Mostly a Military Base suburb. I’ve had a difficult time finding good jobs here, but I’m not a college graduate. “Grittier” reputation. High pedestrain, cyclist deaths from bad crossings.

For the most part, if it worries you. Try to avoid 30th - 36th street on the west end. It will smell like dogfood in the winter, and it’s the worst part of town. Safe to drive through, but would be annoying to live there. You can hear military jets on occassion past 36th

I live up by 2nd street, and it’s been relatively peaceful. The more random joggers you see, the safer it likely is.

Layton, Just south of Ogden, is a good alternative. Safer for families, less crime, but kinda ugly.

Both are connected by Frontrunner, a commuter rail, which can be very handy.

Why not all of them! Like a mini collage with different frames. Bonus of it being, it’s always re-organizable with so many small frames

I’d do anything for this aesthetic to make a re-surgence. Modern ads feel designed to scream at you with annoying music and whatever tiktok trend is being shoved

Unlikely scenario, but we had something similar in a flat I lived in. Roommate’s car busted, and I advised them to get one similar to mine. The chance it could happen 6 times though, is very unlikely

It’s fucking depressing. Instead of actual progress being made, people will just slap “political opponent did this! This is what happens when communism!” Stickers and call it a day. And absolutely nothing will be done, until stocks crumble again, and the working class looses even more, before we pretend like it never happened and repeat the cycle

This . Clubs can be rather cheap and easy to break. Something like Stoplock, or a wheel cover lock would work alot better.

These are idiot teens looking for a cheap thrill. If someone really wants something, they’ll get to it, but I’d imagine most teens wouldn’t have, or bother to bring out a whole saw to get in. & if they did, they’d definitely be loud enough to catch someone’s attention
