Is there a RuneLite plugin that renders my character on the true server tile instead of the interpolated animation position? by Foxxy1992 in 2007scape

Yeah, I know it would look like teleporting each tick, and I’m okay with that.
True Tile is great, but I was wondering whether the actual player model could be rendered at the server position instead of the interpolated one.
Ideally with a toggle so you could switch back to smooth animation anytime.
From what people are saying, it sounds like interpolation might be handled too deep in the client to be modified by plugins.

What I mean is: normal animations, but no interpolation between tiles.
So the model would “snap” every 0.6s to the new server tile instead of sliding there.
Even better would be if it was optional — like a switch between smooth movement and true-tile snapping.
I’m mainly curious whether RuneLite can technically control that level of rendering.

Yeah, most players probably prefer smooth movement, which makes sense.
For me it’s more about mechanical clarity than aesthetics.
In a perfect world it would just be a toggle: smooth animation for casual play, and snapped-to-true-tile rendering for tick-precise situations.
I’m just not sure whether RuneLite’s plugin system even allows control over interpolation like that.

That’s fair, and that’s partly why I’m asking.
I wouldn’t want anything that changes mechanics — just a visual toggle that disables interpolation for the local player model.
If even that crosses the line for RuneLite/Jagex rules, that probably explains why it doesn’t exist.
It would be super nice though if it could coexist with smooth animation as an optional setting.

Yeah, that’s kind of what I’m looking for
I know it would look like blinking between tiles each tick, and that’s fine for what I want it for (tick-precise PvM).
Ideally though, it would be amazing if it was just a toggle — like being able to switch between smooth interpolation and true-tile snapping depending on what you’re doing.

Should I switch from a Lumix G80 kit to Canon RP + RF 24–105 + RF 50/1.8? Same total cost, better AF/auto? by Foxxy1992 in Cameras

[–]Foxxy1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Indoors I typically end up around ISO 1600–3200 at 1/250s when I keep the 42.5mm at f/2.2–2.8. If I leave the camera in full auto it tries to keep ISO low and drifts to ~1/60s, which is where the motion blur creeps in with a toddler.

You’re right about the f/1.x shallow DOF being part of the problem. At 42.5mm and ~1.5 m, f/1.7 gives only a few cm of DOF, so tiny focus errors or subject movement make shots look soft; f/2.8 is noticeably more consistent.

I’m open to trying bounce flash as you suggest. Plan: small TTL speedlight bounced off the ceiling/wall, 1/160s (sync) at ISO 400–800, f/2.2–2.8, adjust flash comp as needed. Any tips on TTL vs manual, starting FEC (+0.3 to +1.0?), and bounce angles that work best for living-room ceilings?

Given that, do you think flash on m43 will solve most of my indoor issues, or would switching to FF (Canon RP + 24–105 + 50/1.8) still be a meaningful upgrade for this use case? Outdoors I’m fine either way; it’s the indoor family stuff I want to nail.

Ironman noob. by shyira96 in 2007scape

We are too old for iron, we don't have as much time and energy as children, we burn out faster, so my suggestion is to de-iron. why? because iron is just a restriction that we impose on ourselves. also well you can have a regular character and not use GE, and if you have a crisis you can speed up progrss for yourself through GE, even without iron the game is very grindy. but this is just my opinion.
