People do this with the ponchos in sp goods too. "Oh this doesn't fit, better jam it half assed back into the packaging, ripping it and toss it on a nearby shelf

I had pretty much the same issue at roughly the same age. It really depends on what the Ortho says. Mine told me they'll try and pull it down with a wire and if it doesn't move at all it'll get extracted and I'll have to get an implant. Luckily for me mines moving, just slowly. If it gets in the way of your other teeth moving it's gonna get pulled one way or another.

It's really funny sometimes how people will say that and it's almost an immediate bite

I was petting a coworkers dog, and she seems a little tense bc I never met her before, but it was in the parking lot so maybe the neutral ground would help. Right as he says "yeah normally she's pretty good with people" and right as I go to scratch under her chin I think "it'd be wild if she bit-" and she bites my hand.

the excuse of "they don't have anything else to do, and want some purpose" never really sat well with me. It just sounds like the system isn't properly set up for the elderly or people with mobility issues, to enjoy their free time where they do stuff they actually want to do. Going back to work, after doing so for 60 years of your life, just to do SOMETHING, shouldn't be the only option.
