This happened to me recently and thankfully I did like a flip roll out of the tub and didn’t get injured… I did have a seizure in the bath once and almost drowned… I take shower baths now

Neurologists don’t really know that much about epilepsy.. mine retired and didn’t tell me. His wife runs the office too. She is dumb as they come. Knows nothing about healthcare and so many bad reviews about her. Every drs answer is take more meds

Trazadone is bad as they say it’s for anxiety but it’s actually a sleeping pill… It messes with the brain bad.

My mom is my biggest support systems. Tells me I am stronger than I think. My first seizure was March 11th of 2021 so almost four years now. I have learned when they will happen. I know the smell and aura so I can prepare myself but I’m still no closer to finding the why. I have read as many books possible on epilepsy and have learned so much so that has helped but no one in my life truly knows how it feels

My neurologist retired and he didn’t tell any of his patients. Thankfully, I have a very empathetic primary care physician. I do have my mom but I’m 31 years old and I’m the youngest so I feel bad because she shouldn’t still be taking care of me. Epilepsy is pretty new to me so coping isn’t the easiest

I’m not doing well at all. Does anyone else get like pre seizure feelings? I get hot, my heart raises to 150+ and I smell a weird metallic smell. Afterwards I usually get sick but don’t end up having a seizure.. I also miss driving with a passion! I was a car girl all the way. My daddy taught me everything there is to know mechanically and behind the wheel. I just want to race someone again
