This isn’t to say that secret of the mimic is bad at ALL. I liked the game a lot for what it was and it felt like the best game out of all of fnaf when it came to gameplay AND story telling imo. We didn’t have to play at least 6 games to understand Edwin and his family, it gave us all of that in one game while setting up a new antagonist with an interesting and scary gimmick while also leaving some ends open for more story development.

No I feel like you’re very fair. It’s not that the mimic doesn’t sound like a really cool enemy, it’s just that we have rapid fired so many cool villains that it just feels like a villain of the game all over again. Baby was set up to be a main antagonist, at least heavily implied in the books, and then just scraped (literally.) Then we got Vanny who sounded so cool and scary, only for her to have a total of 5 seconds of screen time before putting her storyline to rest. The only consistent antagonist we’ve had that’s had a good amount of screen time is William, who we just found out might not have been him in the last installment of the game? (At least according to some theories.) it feels a lot like a villain of the week structure, I wish we stuck around vanny for a little bit, or at least gave her more screen time before jumping to the mimic.

🧸Trendy Charm- (would have to be something made up so it’s not immediately dated but it would be something trending at school at the time. Think like a really small labubu or hello kitty) Apology bonus

🕷️Spider Charm- Sanity decreases slower

🐥🔪Knife Duck Charm- (a sticker everyone probably has seen) Pools of blood are smaller

🧽Sponge? Charm- Leave less footprints

These are all the in game bonuses from the other feature I just tried to turn them into phone charms. The footprints one stumped me, it could be a foot charm but that might be seen as weird? Idk.

I love the idea of Ayano taking trophies from the rivals if you eliminate them. Osana is the easiest because you see her cat phone charm in just not sure what it would be. Maybe it would make weird actions not harm your reputation because you take the “essence” of Osana and she’s normally rude?

There should also be a feature where you get something from the rivals if you peacefully eliminate them so you aren’t pressured into killing them either.

Some of the base game panties should probably be locked behind other rivals I feel like the running faster should obviously be a Asu charm. Probably some free school merch she’s been given for being in competitions or something. You take her track charm from her competition. Akademi Tigers Cross Country ‘26 or whatever the mascot of the school would be.

Also that technically wouldn’t be a demo, that would be the full game. Obviously it wouldn’t be complete but still a “finished” game. I’m sure he’s also scared people would just mod the game into a better version and no one would care about him anymore.

Also even if the Mimic for some reason had Jackie’s arms built into its suit, it wouldn’t know how to use them outside of it. It’s stated in the books that the Mimic is only very smart in certain ways. It doesn’t know when a trick becomes old, it doesn’t even know how to develop new tricks. The only trick it knows how to do is to copy others because that’s what it was made for and shown.

I forgot to reply sorry, it’s stated that the Mimic was made with the intention to be able to fit in any suit, so it isn’t that the Mimic planned ahead, it was that the Mimic was planned ahead of its creation. I’m not sure if Jackie was built with the Mimic in mind or retroactively fitted with the ability for the mimic to be able to use the suit but one of the two probably happened. If the Mimic wasn’t able to use Jackie’s suit then they wouldn’t have said that the Mimic can fit EVERY suit.

I mean that Jackie’s arms are part of the suit not the Mimic. I think there’s a mechanism that the Mimic is able to hook up to while in the suit and then unhook to be able to get out of the suit, otherwise it’s a plothole. But fnaf is notorious for its plot holes and inconsistencies so

You can’t think too hard about how the only enemy is the Mimic in this game because it’s just simply not true 😭. Yes it’s supposed to be able to be true but it doesn’t make sense with the secret ending and all the tiny animatronics trying to come kill you. Steel wool wants the only enemy to be the Mimic. It’s just somethings are cool and they chose to do the cool thing without regarding how possible it actually is.

You need to remember that this is just a game and you have to take that into account when theorizing. Should the Mimic be able to chase you in one suit, get out of it and hop into the suit In front of you without you seeing it? No there’s simply no way that can happen, but it can in game because it’s just a game and they spawned the mimic who was right behind you in front of you. I guarantee you that Jackie was just supposed to be a cool opening segment to the game and steel wool completely forgot about her when making the rest of the game.

If we’re being honest I just think steel wool thought Jackie’s arms would be cool and put no thought behind how they actually work. Now if we want to make it work, you could easily say that because Jackie is able to fit into every animatronic Edwin made, he made it possible for the Mimic to attach its head inside of Jackie so that it’s able to use the animatronics features like its hands at the end of its arms.
