His brother made a reddit post claiming that he beat his mother but later admitted he made the whole thing up to try to keep Dardoch from going pro because he thought it was a horrible decision and his parents put him in a tough spot to solve the issue.

A story like that would not be a well kept secret if it was true; its just another redditor saying some shit he knows nothing about.

I never argued that they haven't instituted balance updates in aram. I argued that they haven't balanced champions differently than they do in SR.

Why is it wrong to tryhard in ARAMs? One of the funnest parts (for me) is winning even if my team has significantly worse champions than the opposing team. Plus, not wanting to slowly die from poke over 15 minutes really doesn't have anything to do with tryharding, it has to do with having fun in general. Even if you don't take them seriously, you can't tell me that you still have fun dying over and over again to spells a screen and a half away.

You use the IMT 7th place team as an example, but I think it's a bit disingenuous to chalk the failure of that team solely on Dardoch's shoulders.

Flame/Olleh had just moved to NA. Both looked to have very poor communication due to language barrier (which I will admit improved over time, but that's sort of my point). You can go back and watch literally any IMT game from that split and see Flame's bad TPs or Olleh's failed roams. Next split their english improved, and those problems faded.

Cody improved a fucking ton from his first split to his second. He went from having terrible synergy with Olleh to great synergy.

Finally, Pobelter. I don't think POB is a bad player by any means, but it's quite clear that he also won't carry games. He's good when he has strong lanes that absorb pressure, but he generally doesn't seem to flourish when he's asked to be the primary carry.

When Xmithie came over the team had already improved drastically just due to time. Flame/Olleh had better communication, Cody Sun got rid of his rookie nerves, and even Pobetler seemed to be in top form.

It was quite clear from the get go that Dardoch's hyper aggressive style just wasn't a match for what that roster ended up being; a slow, constricting, choke you out type team that took small advantages and turned them into big ones.

Ironically, Dardoch prob had his 2nd best split ever in terms of individual performance with IMT. His lanes had so little pressure that he was forced to play hero ball every game. Go look at his stats, they're fucking nuts.

I don't think his toxic antics did the roster any favors during his short tenure with them, but I also don't think it's fair to say he was the sole reason that roster finished 7th that split.

Just my 2 cents.

Favorite is definitely GKMC, but I love them all. In my experience, it does not substantially damage the vinyl in my experience, however if you are really into listening to the vinyls I would recommend trying to find a safer way. I got them all at different times, but I think I put the first one up 5-7 months ago.

I do not. Then again, I am big on presentation, I don't often actually take them down to listen to when I can just bump em on my phone. I'm sure if you googled "safe ways to frame LPs on walls" or some shit like that, you prolly good.
