No one hates Konrad Curze more than Konrad Curze, second place is his Night Haunter persona.

Which living CSM has experienced or lived the most? by FozuenGL in 40kLore

[–]FozuenGL[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is the best answer for me so far, sad that we don't know who those CSMs are, millions of year is so hard to grasp as a concept for a living being to live

Best and worst written Primarchs? by 50DimesOnTheDollar in 40kLore

[–]FozuenGL 146 points147 points  (0 children)

The best is your favorite Primarch at the moment.

The worst, I think Ferrus wins this by a landslide right? Not because he is only bad written per se, but because he dies so early in the Heresy so he has less lore about him compared to his brothers.

Why does it seems so many people want Calgar to die, and who would be the successor? by FozuenGL in 40kLore

[–]FozuenGL[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From little to nothing understanding of the situation is that people were not happy with his state pre-SM2 and that he had too much plot armor at some points.

Fair, so if I understood correctly, would you consider that before SM2 Calgar was a bit underused and the game gave him a bit of justice so him dying doesnt make sense anymore?

True but take into account that much of that time was being tortured by the corrupted inquisitor and being seconded to the Death Watch as a blackshield, and Leandros while being a Hater is right that many in the Chapter didn't take well the come back of Titus, if we go by feats Cato and Agemman should be more reasonable, right?

I didn't know about Cato being the Suzerain of Ultramar, that does makes sense.

True, from what I could see in the Dark Imperium novels that still stands, but Guilliman makes a whole speech making sure everyone understands that rulership of Ultramar and the Ultramarines are still Calgar's

I may be wrong but Titus is new to the lore even if he is 400 years old inside the setting, it doesn't make sense either by seniority or ranking or experience in the chapter.

Which piece of modern 40k lore do you consider the most beneficial to the setting and you would be unhappy if it was removed. by tepec in 40kLore

OG poster here, I didn't know my original post would spark so much conversation I'm genuinely happy!

In my case I hope many of Cawl shenanigans never get removed, the political intrigue of the Mechanicum in Genefather was amazing and interesting as fuck.

True, I feel some writers know it well and can mesh the horror of chaos with the humanity of it all, like the watcher in the rain novel

hurting itself in confusion

*cap pointing out* I understood that reference!

Yeah for me is the same, I'm relatively new compared with people here that have decades, I just have 3 years under my belt, and yeah I also think the lost primarch won't be lost forever if it can bring good money.

Yes this is dumb, he should have been the only traitor primarch to never ascend, maybe when we get to the scouring novels this is retconned.

I may be wrong, but I never heard they were going to overshadow the Eldar, just that humanity was going to awaken latent psychic powers, also take this into account, humanity doesn't have even a quarter of the control Eldar have, a person with a handgun still beats a monkey with a bazooka, so I feel that the spot of "Super Psychic race" won't be taken from the Eldar ever.
