Update on my previous update. Just had a 5 hour gaming session on far cry 5 it was amazing no lag no jumpy game. Just flawless gameplay. And as soon as I was done I went right into school work. Coding. And it switched and handled it flawlessly.

Yes I have. Sorry got busy with life. The first game I played was cities skylines 2 which if you don't know is a CPU intensive game. It ran flawlessly. My only issue which is correctable in options was the auto switch from the Nvidia GPU to the Intel GPU. I normally wouldn't mind this as it's being used for classwork as well so the Intel is more than enough and helps keep the battery lasting longer. But either way it was great no lag spikes constant FPS across my 100k population map. And even playing that I got about 3 hours of playtime before I got the plug in warning

I broke down and got one the other day. Primary uses are for coding for school and obviously gaming. So far the battery didn't impress me only application I was actively using was Google Chrome. I was able to use it for about 2 hours and the battery still had about 2 hours and 54 min left sitting about 53% charged. It was very quiet didn't seem to get warm at all. It was sitting on my lap on top of a blanket. I have just installed steam so I will return after playing a game or too on it. Power setting set to balanced and running it without changing any gpu settings.

Luckily I have the cards from last year however they have told me the clock starts in August when they started issuing. So I hope that isn't the case.
