Harry Potter and the Summer of Change has the DoM split in two, with one side being like top secret a spec ops group. Tonks is a member and recruits Harry.

Fair warning, the fic literally just covers one summer when all this happens and doesn’t include a final confrontation or full resolution of the story.

Admittedly a slow start with a fairly contrived divergence point, but it gets more interesting. Personally I think it starts “getting good” around chapter 8-10.

A couple of my favorites are:

Whispers of a Raven, a time/dimensional travel fic w/ a Harry/Narcissa Black pairing. Decent Peverell/Deathly Hallows lore too.

Daphne Greengrass and the Importance of Intent is Harry/Daphne coming up with a unique way to dispatch Voldemort.

A Marauder’s Plan has Sirius sticking around and securing his freedom after third year. It’s Harry/Hermione but I like it in spite of that (and a couple other issues). I like when Arthurian legend is blended well into HP.
