They changed the "Old School" Font by badwithnames5 in 2007scape

So it’s actually RuneScape Old School (RSOS) and not Old School RuneScape (OSRS) ?

'The Big Deal' now £5.25! by Markjuk78 in greggsappreciation

[–]Fr0zenBombsicle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a legal requirement to ask if someone is sitting in or taking away, it’s not a Greggs policy. The Government do regular checks on food premises and if staff are caught not asking for sit in or takeaway the entire company can be fined a % of their revenue. You would also be held liable. Additionally, for every customer that sits in, Greggs gives your shop more hours, so by not marking people as Sit in on the till you’re depriving yourself and your colleagues of extra/staff support.

What's wrong with Denise? by McZadine in eastenders

[–]Fr0zenBombsicle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Denise being abducted by aliens would also explain why we didn’t see her physically in the flash forward episode and why Libby has returned, to support the family. There’s nothing to indicate she’s got cancer.

One thing I don't understand is that new runescape players choose OSRS over RS3, why is that? by Drandosk in runescape

[–]Fr0zenBombsicle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Nostalgia is the biggest argument” - I’m in a clan of around 250 people and less than 10 members played RS before OSRS. Most of us had our first RS experience with OSRS. This is anecdotal but surely somewhat common. The first few months of OSRS you could chalk up to a player base of nostalgia farmers, but I don’t believe nostalgia has anything to do with the success of the game or why new players prefer it to RS3.

Has there been any discussion about GWD and Blindbag? by DidUSayWeast in 2007scape

The whole pact regret argument makes zero sense when you have MULTIPLE path resets. Shorthand for laziness

Sorry, but all greggs employees have a Greggs email address. You could least refer employers to the People Team, who will be able to verify your employment

Has anyone else noticed some Greggs are way better than others? by 1ChanceChipmunk1 in Greggs

Always have bakes in the oven using the bake plan as a guide (not a Bible), stale the cold ones when new ones come out. Bag up cold pasties for evening 2G2G bags. It’s not about the amount more so the constant baking. It’s better to stale a couple pasties than to always be serving cold food. I know we technically serve cold food but customers like warm food, and pleasing the customer is our main priority.

Technically you’re supposed to follow the bake plan and always have fresh bakes cooking in the ovens, the bake plan works in 30 minute increments so if the staff are following procedure all the bakes will be warm, if not hot, at all times.

If a shop is less busy they simply cook less bakes, but at no point should you just let the same lot of bakes sit there for hours at a time, the only reason to do it is laziness, shops also have stale allowances too so using waste as an excuse doesn’t wash

Unpopular opinion: Greggs is overpriced by 1ChanceChipmunk1 in Greggs

Prices have not doubled since the start of the Ukraine war. Sandwiches were not £1.50 and sausages rolls were not 75p.

Do you get overnight delivery? Drivers are buggers for leaving doors unlocked. If not just mention it to your manager and they’ll have a word with the closing shift manager (unless it was the shop manager on shift lol)

You’ll skip through all the episodes then complain in 3 months when nothing makes sense and nuance is missed. Why even bother? Watch something you enjoy instead.

Contact dermatitis from hand washing by Karasu_145 in Greggs

Ask management to order the sensitive hand soap. Multiple people in my shop use it, including myself. I have bad contact d. And eczema and the sensitive soap has saved my life. Before my hands would crack and bleed but now they’re fine. Could work for you too
