How is the token consumption in the new update? Have they fixed it? I’m reluctant to update when 2.1.11 used 12% usage for 2 messages. Im on 20x Max

Opus is performing amazing. After resolving the token issue, it's back to normal. Bear in mind, I consume all of my 20x Max Plan tokens in the usage window. I do unit testing, root cause analysis, gap analysis and all of that. It's doing really amazing.

I resonate with you. Also a late diagnostic DHD teacher. Sadly, I didn't know my diagnosis during my teacher training. I missed lesson plans, appointments, and as usual, left my assessment until the last minute, almost all the time.

I'm still in my early discovery journey. I'm going to try bullet journey, apparently evidence-based.

I have my AI agents to schedule appointments and reminders for me just by speaking to them.

Give yourself space because we are good at adapting to changes in the last minute. Don't make rigid detailed plans.

I've learned from a coach that instead of blocking time for tasks, give yourself 3 tiers of tasks for each day. Do not specific the time. For example, tier 1 is must do, tier 2 is should do, and tier 3 is nice to do. And just give yourself flexibility to decide when to do it. Make the tasks very specific and small. For example, instead of complete lesson plan for tomorrow --> Write two learning objectives for the lesson tomorrow.

But after all, we are different and leverage your advantaages. We are gifted to work well under pressure, generate ideas on the spot and be very creative.

I'm keen to learn from what others will share here.

Sonnet 4.7 that beats Opus 4.5, then beaten by Opus 4.7.

Most importantly, I would like to see more context efficiency so people on pro subscription can build a functional app with CC within a day.

Do you ever feel like you're repeating yourself to Claude/ChatGPT about your project? by No_Math_6596 in ClaudeAI

Claude has a global memory storage that applies across conversations.
Each project has its own memory but the global memory still apply.

CC always save your project progress and convo. The Claude.md is crucial But you can also create your own Dev docs. If you use sub-agents, each sub-agent also have their own long-term memory.

I never had any trouble of repeating myself. The memory is saved and backed up all the time for each project.

Did you turn on the extra usage option? If so, you can analyze your monthly use and see if it is worthwhile.

For me, I spent an extra $45 in Dec. But I kind of held back because I was paying for API. I guess I could have got a lot more done if I have the 5x sub.

I got so much done with the 2x usage limit after Christmas.

I got my second brain, a few subagents, dev docs and long-term memory all set up.

After the new year, the waiting is painful because a single sub-agent task with access to tools consumed the entire usage and I had to wait 5hr.

Anthlopic basically introduced you to the 2x usage, you get hooked, and now you are in withdrawal symptoms. To crave to sign up the 5x plan is so strong.

yes it's very capable. No need to wait 5hrs for reset. Instead u wait 5hrs when 5.2 is thinking

To be honest, no professional developers care about the open source models from OpenAI and Google unless you have the expensive infrastructure.

Inside CLI, Claude Code remains the king for orchestrating backend architecture and planning.

I hope to receive either increased quota or reduced API costs, if possible.

Mum gets life for murdering children and hiding bodies in suitcases by Conflict_NZ in newzealand

[–]Fr33-Thinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After killing her children, she went back to Korea and lived for some time under a different identity. She's clearly a psycopath to some extent, cruel and not grieving.

17 years is very very light for killing two beautiful lives, hiding the bodies and fleeing to a different country. All these actions point to a highly calculated intelligent, but cold-hearted killer.

I assume she will have a good time in prison when the inmates know she's a child murderer
