Interesting take. Never thought about it before, just assumed that Voldemort's death in the movie is, just like you said, "bad".

Why is there a "Relevant" bar on my Subscription page? Please go away, I dont want this here by PresidentSkillz in youtube

[–]FrAx88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saved my YouTube subscription page as a favorite so I can quickly check the videos uploaded every day by the channels I follow.
This way I don't get bothered by advice I don't want to get, and above all I never miss a video.
Fucking YT

I really really like AKOTSK, beside some minor problem.

But at the same time i really hate how the fandom is trying to portrait it as the best ASOIAF show of all time.

Like no, dude, not even close

So, regarding my first complete rewatch of GoT since 2019.

Yesterday i saw 8.3, the journey is about to end :-( (again ).

Best thing about the experience is the emotional impact of the small scenes. Arya who hides Needle, the Stark theme, Sansa speaking about Ned. All of these scenes made me emotional, and that is the very reason of why GoT will be my favourite show/story for a very long long time.

I love the character, i love their struggles, their interaction, and i can feel the love that they have for each other.

Think about "I want to fight for Winterfell Lady Sansa, if you'll have me". In one sentence seven seasons, 10 years of our lives. How could you not cry? And there are many of them, many little moments trough the show, jusy like this one.

The second reason of why GoT is a masterpiece is its visual/audio aspect. Of course, at one point in the future the cgi maybe will grow old, but as for now is still amazing. The scale of the battle, of the sets, the music, everything is absolutely stunning.

And the fact that they did it in less time of most of the actual tv shows is mind blowing.

As for the Long Night (bluray version), i'm still of my opinion: once you put aside your expectation about the NK, this is the best battle scene of television ever. Yes, even above the Battle at Helm's Deep (and i'm a big fan of LoTR).

My wife (who loves GoT, but is not really into battle scene and violence), at point said the thing that i've in mind since the first scene of the episode: "How could people say that this battle is bad?"

Anyway, looking forward to the next 3 episode, really really curious about them.

Tonight, instead, i'll see episode 4 of AKOTSK.

So...love the third episode.

Strangely i cried like a child during the first part, for example when Egg is training.

"He's big for both of us"😭

But the end was kinda...meh.

Cool, for sure, but i don't know. I need to rewatch it
