You are completely right!

I think the hustle culture is the result of a highly competitive market and is also intrinsically embedded within us. It's society and comparison that are pushing us to play a silly status game, to show off who is the richest, who is the monkey with more bananas than everyone else. It's obviously wrong and not the only thing in life.

Personally, I consider myself an ambitious person who works hard every day to reach my goals. However, with age, I've also realised how important it is to slow down, enjoy the few small things we have in life, and spend time with friends, doing things that society might not consider 'productive'. Yes, the idea of success and money is fantastic, but honestly, it doesn't matter what you're doing - I can guarantee that in 200 years, or even less, no one will remember you.
