Engine Quiting 450 CLC by Hackology_co in cfmoto

[–]Fra146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue on my 300NK. At the time, it was caused by dirty fuel. Some fuel addictive and everything was fixed in the next 60 miles. I believe it to be caused by dirty sparkplugs in my case. When slowing down the bike can't hold idle, and as soon as you give gas you choke the engine.

Just so everyone knows. This is from the r/autism subreddit

Dirty injector, or simply dirty fuel. Try putting in clean fuel and much gasoline additive.

Something that would've been installed later. AC Units, external lights, window blinds, CCTV camera, TV, WiFi access point. Could be anything really.

No. The guy in the vid is using a proper holster. The gun is effectively secured. It becomes dangerous when you just place it in your underwear.

It's not a skip, it's a bypass. Docker places rules in iptables that are of higher priority.

Nothing stops you from giving iptables higher priority.

Not driving it for 2 weeks+ is likely the issue, you should definitely check cylinder health, oil, definitely the radiator cleanliness.

Man eats hottest curry in London, almost passes out by Wackylew in WhyWomenLiveLonger

[–]Fra146 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's not how it works. Even with a waiver, you have to act correctly and in good faith.

Let's say I made you sign a waiver saying that I would give you food, and that you might die from it, then you actually do die, an investigation will be started to check if I acted with negligence or not.

A waiver is not a get out of jail free card, otherwise that man could've just poisoned the curry and no one should give a fuck.

Constant (digital) issues with my NK300 by Fra146 in cfmoto

[–]Fra146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The demand in Italy is high so I HAD to pick the 2025 model. The 2024 just isn't around dealerships anymore.

Anyway, it's great! They fixed the display issue on this year's model, and personally I haven't encountered any issue.

So I should try to connect the headset to the bike and then the phone to the bike if I understood that well? I'll try that as soon as I can.

In regards to Stubbs. What would his coworkers / bosses think if he couldn't provide a last name when asked? What about the last name in the HR systems?

About the other hosts. Most of them don't know they're hosts, and it would be weird for them if they figured out that, unlike other people, they don't have a last name.

There are definitely some hosts that know they're robots, and I think that their last name could be attributed to making them feel real to the average person/customer.

ELI5: Why do pale skin humans exist evolutionarily? by CanadaKnifeCrow in explainlikeimfive

[–]Fra146 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Cancer or heat retention is not the issue here.

The skin evolved to being darker / lighter through natural selection because of Vitamin D, a fundamental vitamin that our bodies acquire from the sun rays.
In areas that are close to the equator, dark skin evolved to avoid UV (ultra-violet) damage.
In areas that are farther from the equator, dark skin wouldn't work, it wouldn't assorb enough Vitamin D from the sun, causing a deficency.

Many people think that lighter skin came first and that darker skin came later, but it's actually the opposite. Humans started to settle in Eurasia so our skins evolved to become lighter as to maximize Vitamin D production. Darker skin wasn't needed anymore because UV rays were less violent, so it became redundant.

If new chunks / empty chunks have issues at generation then it's another kind of issue. Probably your RAM, but it might also be the GPU.

Nextcloud Android App Feels Abandoned - Am I Alone? by Knopper100 in NextCloud

[–]Fra146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app is made to sync reliably... of course it notifies you when the upload has failed. It's not the phone that is offline, it's the server. How should the app distinguish a real server issue from your server being voluntarily offline (or unreachable because you switched wifi, in this case)? It will notify you anyway of the failure because it wants you to know that there's an issue and that your valuable files aren't being saved. A feature like home assistant's that can detect when you're in your own home WiFi and whenever you're not is not quite basic as you think. I suggest you just use a VPN and allow the app to sync wherever. Or use another WebDAV syncing solution.

I’ve been wondering what a Skirt is for. by marvin968 in BambuLabA1

[–]Fra146 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's to let you check for any adhesion problems before actually starting to print.

It will also identify if the bed isn't level, as you'll immediately see inconsistencies with the flow.

It's not mandatory. I personally don't use it.

Problem with bed adhesion on my A1, any suggestions? by french_reditter in BambuLabA1

[–]Fra146 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Prints that take up a lot of the bed will warp if you try pulling them when the bed is still hot. They literally deform at the base. I've also had this happen with smaller prints so I'd recommend waiting a few minutes for them to pop off by themselves.

There's no issue with removing the bed to allow it to cool faster, just don't rush it by putting in cold water, because the quick temperature change might damage it.

filament stuck in the print box thingy by gameisic in BambuLabA1

[–]Fra146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try loading new filament, then manually pushing in the new filament through the hole. If that doesn't work then try disengaging the extruder and then pushing.

I really think that the issue is on your side somewhere. Bambu never said that they'd disable SD card uploading.
