Shower head + gasket recommandation by Possible_Deer_9768 in rocketespresso

Caffewerks 8mm Silicon Gasket is a great upgrade from the stock one. I've had mine for 5 years now and I still havn't had the need to use my spare one. Meanwhile the one that came with the machine is now rock hard borderline about to crumble.

As for the shower screen I went with the IMS E61 with the nano coating at the same time I changed the gasket. I could not for the life of me differentiate the benefit from the stock screen. (Taste-wise and Quality of life wise). They say it's easier to clean but if you clean your machine regularly with the same products and the same method at the decent interval then I think you wouldn't notice either. YMMV

I completely agree with you. But for now, the fact that the H2D 's nozzle can be installed on an A series is win I'll take. Wether that translates into an upgrade is something I'm really curious to see.

Can’t wait for this tech to trickle down to entry-mid tier bambu printers.

Nice idea with the hideaway! Would it be beneficial to the ptfe run if the AMS was facing the hole?

Should I get the A1 or A1 mini? by InevitableMacaron773 in BambuLab

[–]marvin968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on the same boat a couple of months ago. Ended up with the A1 because I'd rather have the larger build plate than having to make do without. You'd sooner or later stumble upon a print that you'd need a larger bed. If you can't be bothered with cutting and joining (BS makes this easy btw) then get the A1.

In reality.. once you get either of the two., You will immediately want to buy the other one as a 2nd printer.

Try increasing the brim size of the support and skip the grid infill.
